The staff were exceptional - friendly and went above and beyond to ensure first-class customer service. The lady who checked us in and served breakfast was a trooper, handling multiple roles with ease. The room was pleasant and spotlessly clean, with all the necessary amenities including tea/coffee facilities and convenient socket outlets near the mirror. The bed linen was crisp and clean, and the shower had plenty of water pressure. The restaurant on site, RUSTICA, offered delicious food and drinks, with standout dishes like the calamari starter, goats cheese starter. the hotel provided excellent value for money, and it was situated close to Beamish Museum and easily accessible by bus from central Newcastle.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The staff were so helpful and friendly, making me feel right at home. The hotel itself exceeded my expectations, with gorgeous rooms and a comfortable bed. The location was perfect for me as I was attending a wedding nearby. Additionally, the hotel was less than a 5-minute drive from Beamish Museum, making it a great base for exploring the area. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel and its facilities. Lastly, the staff at the hotel restaurant were lovely and provided excellent service.

Cleanliness was excellent and the rooms were well presented. Staff were very helpful and available 24/7. The hotel was close to the town centre and a local pub that served good food. Location was convenient for transportation, with taxis easily accessible.

I had a fantastic stay! The hotel was clean, bright, and well-decorated. The room was spotless with a lovely bathroom. The reception staff were exceptional, so friendly and helpful. They were the most welcoming and helpful staff I have ever encountered. The hotel had excellent value for money, with a comfy bed and good quality TV. The attached restaurant offered great value food and excellent service. The location was fine, with reasonable prices. it was one of the best hotels I've stayed in for a long time.

Everything great.

Despite the disappointing sofa bed, the location of the hotel was ideal, with local shops just a short distance away. Additionally, we were unable to book into the onsite restaurant, but we found a fantastic Italian restaurant nearby for our evening meals. These aspects helped alleviate some of the disappointment we experienced during our stay.

The sofa bed in our room was extremely uncomfortable, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep.

We had a great stay at this hotel. The location was perfect for us as it was close to the Beamish museum, which was the main reason for our visit. They were always there to assist us whenever we needed anything. The hotel also had great amenities such as room service, ironing facilities, and tea and coffee facilities. we had a pleasant experience here and would definitely recommend it to others.

The recently refurbished Hotel 52 has excellent facilities, including a lovely Italian restaurant with a varied menu and a bright and welcoming atmosphere. The decor is unique, with art deco touches and a wall featuring front views of suitcases. The reception area is also bright and the staff are fun, informative, and good to chat with. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with a fabulous bathroom and a mini kitchen equipped with a cooker and TV with loads of channels. The hotel is conveniently located just 10 minutes away from Beamish outdoor museum. The car park is well-lit and secure, and the staff are friendly and accommodating.
