The lodge is spacious with a large living room and bright windows. The reception staff are helpful and kind. The spa services, particularly the massage and facial, are amazing. Enjoyed kayaking and boat trips.

The location of the hotel was amazing, with beautiful surroundings that were perfect for a relaxing Christmas getaway. the rooms were clean and tidy, and the staff was generally friendly and helpful. the food was delicious, with highlight dishes being the lamb shank and fish and chips. There were also plenty of activities available, which made for a fun and enjoyable stay.

There were some negative aspects to our experience. the room we stayed in was a bit dated and not like the photos on the website.
