Rooms were spacious and bathrooms clean with good showers. Bed was comfortable. Staff was attentive, accommodating and helped even late at night. Great location with easy access to nearby shops, cafes and restaurants. Regular cleaning of the bathroom was appreciated.

I recently stayed at the Ibis in Hunter Square for a weekend getaway. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. One unique feature I loved was that if you opted out of maid service for multiple days, you received a £5 credit to use at the bar. It was a fun way to save water and cleaning, and we even had enough credit for a couple of Bailey's. The hotel's central location was excellent and the staff were always ready to provide anything we needed. a fantastic experience!

During my Christmas stay at this hotel, I really liked the convenient location. It was located in the heart of the city, with shops, restaurants, and attractions just a few minutes away. Additionally, the staff were friendly and helpful, providing excellent service and making me feel welcome. One of the best aspects was the cozy lobby area, with a 24-hour bar and reception. It was a great place to relax and unwind after a day of exploring.

There were a couple of negative aspects to my stay. the room was quite hot, even in winter, and the windows did not open widely, which made it difficult to cool down.

The room was clean and modern with a comfortable bed. The highlight of my stay was the delicious breakfast served every morning. I would recommend this hotel for a great stay in Edinburgh.

Great hotel with an amazing location close to the train station. We loved the fact that it was right at the center of the royal mile, making it very convenient to visit our favorite sights. The room was clean and tidy, and the staff was friendly and polite. The hotel even offered free storage for our luggage when our flight got cancelled.

We did encounter a few issues, such as a dirty towel and urine left in the toilet upon arrival. While these were minor inconveniences, we expected better attention to detail from the hotel staff.
