The hotel is just outside the village and close enough to many places to visit, making it a convenient location. The spa was also a highlight, being super stylish and one of the best we've experienced in a hotel.

Nothing could have been better.

We had a fantastic short break at a lovely country house hotel with excellent spa facilities and brilliant, professional and friendly staff. The location was perfect for a 'get away from it all' break, with stunning views of the surrounding countryside. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the service was top-notch. The breakfast was delicious, and we enjoyed using the swimming pool and hydrotherapy pool. We will definitely be coming back!

On the positive side, the setting was lovely, and the rooms were very comfy and well-appointed. the location was also very convenient, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. the hotel offered free parking, which was a real bonus.

The lounge areas and service from the staff are excellent. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The food is of very good quality, especially the chocolate sorbet for dairy-free diets. The location is great if you want a remote and quiet getaway. The staff are incredibly friendly and committed. There is a constant improvement program in place. The dining and breakfast options are excellent, with a good choice of dishes including smoked haddock and kippers.

this place exceeded our expectations! our standard room had a large comfy bed, spacious bathroom, and even a decent hairdryer. the daily tea, coffee, and homemade flapjacks were a delightful touch. the plentiful breakfast with fresh cooked options was fantastic. we loved the compact spa and enjoyed a tranquil nap there. great selection of drinks at the bar, and the cream tea was amazing. lovely staff and superb views.
