The staff were fantastic, really friendly and helpful. The room, bedding, and towels were all clean and fresh. The breakfast was excellent quality with delicious cooked-to-order options using local produce. The dinner and drinks in the restaurant were also delicious and reasonably priced. Our two cockerpoos were welcome everywhere in the hotel. Great value for money and we will definitely be back. Thank you to all the staff.

The Inn On The Moor Hotel in Goathland was fantastic! Comfortable and clean rooms, delicious and reasonably priced meals and drinks, dog-friendly amenities, friendly and attentive staff, and a great location for walks and day trips. Highly recommended.

We had a fantastic Christmas stay at this cozy hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The location was perfect, nestled in a charming village with stunning surroundings. We loved the way they served breakfast and the complimentary cream tea was a delightful treat. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and we appreciated the effort of the ongoing refurbishment.

While the room was a bit small and lacked a view, the cleanliness was not compromised. The Christmas decorations were charming, but it would have been nice to have a more festive atmosphere throughout the hotel.

Had a fantastic new year stay in this charming hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The room was spotlessly clean and had all the amenities we needed. Loved the fact that they provided a variety of hot drinks in the room. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the North York Moors Steam Railway and close to the beautiful Yorkshire Moor national park. The meals at the hotel were absolutely delicious, especially the homemade lasagne and chocolate brownie sundae. Enjoyed relaxing in the spacious lounge/bar area with a drink.

While the room was comfortable, it did feel a bit tired. The shower had some features that we couldn't use due to a sign.
