We stayed at this hotel recently and were incredibly impressed with everything. The location couldn't be better, right in the center of town, making it convenient for everything. The hotel itself was luxurious and provided enhanced comfort. The rooms were spacious and nicely decorated, and the cleanliness was impeccable. The staff was friendly, helpful, and went out of their way to assist us. The breakfast was delicious and the service throughout our stay was exceptional.

I had a fantastic stay at this luxurious 4-star hotel. The location was absolutely perfect, right in the center of Ambleside. Being able to park onsite for free was a huge bonus! The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. I felt so comfortable and at home throughout my stay. The room was spacious and well-kept, perfect for my family with two babies. The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The breakfast was delicious, especially the mouthwatering pan au chocolate. the quality of service and the comfort provided at this hotel were exceptional.

The room we stayed in, Room 2, had a large, comfortable bed and a stylish new bathroom. The location was excellent, right in the heart of town and just a short stroll to Lake Windermere. We also appreciated the on-site free parking and the plenty of local places to eat and drink. Additionally, we felt that our bike was safe with the hotel's facilities. Despite some noise from the outside eating area and traffic, we found the overall experience to be enjoyable. The staff were friendly and the pub downstairs was a convenient spot for a drink or a meal. we would definitely recommend staying at this hotel.

My stay at The White Lion was fantastic! The room was large, warm, and immaculately clean. The modern shower room was a treat, especially with the hot towel rail. The full English breakfast was just what I needed to start the day, and the location was perfect for exploring the Lakes. The added bonus of free parking made my stay even more enjoyable. The noise from the shower and toilet pump, although it only lasted for a few minutes. It is worth noting that this is a common occurrence in older hotels.

The room was comfortable and clean, with great size and plenty of towels. the continental breakfast was a nice touch and included in the price. the best aspect was the brunch menu which had delicious buttermilk pancakes and a brunch burger. We also appreciated the convenient parking and central location.

The room was hot and stuffy with only one small window that could be opened. the portable fan provided was not enough to cool down the room during our Thanksgiving stay.
