Fantastic location, delicious breakfast, spacious rooms, excellent shower, attentive and pleasant staff.

I recently had a wonderful stay at a hotel by the water that offered breathtaking views. The location was ideal for my requirements, as it was centrally located for my trips to Edinburgh and the area was perfect for leisurely walks. The hotel itself was spacious and my room overlooked the Firth of Forth, which was a treat. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the basic amenities provided were satisfactory.

There were some minor issues that could be improved upon.

Comfortable, clean rooms with breathtaking view of the Firth of Forth. Staff, especially Lee at breakfast, provide exceptional service. Convenient location for exploring the area. Lovely garden for bird watching. Will definitely return. 🌟

We stayed at Innkeeper's in South Queensferry for a few nights and it was a wonderful experience. The room was beautifully decorated and well-equipped with a kettle, TV, and spacious bathroom. The sea view from the accommodation was absolutely stunning. We also loved the fact that the restaurant stayed open past 22:00, allowing us to have a late meal. The family room was perfect for us and our grandson, who loved the big sofa bed all to himself.

Would be happy to recommend this hotel.

The complimentary breakfast and Wi-Fi were lovely gestures. the hotel was situated in a great spot, surrounded by plenty of attractions and amenities. the room offered superb views of the nearby river and was quite spacious.

The bed was quite old and bouncy, making for a rather uncomfortable night's sleep. the room could have been a little cleaner, as there were some stray crumbs under the bed and the bathroom needed a little more attention.

Location of this hotel is fantastic, situated on the pier with stunning views over the river and bridges. Our room with a river view and excellent shower was very clean and comfortable. The staff provides great service and basic amenities were all perfect, just what we asked for on the menu.

We had a fantastic stay at The Hawes Inn and were impressed by the warm and inviting ambiance. Our room, No 12, was clean and ideal for our needs. The staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant was fantastic and the pub had a nice atmosphere. The views from the river view rooms were amazing. we highly recommend this hotel.

We do think that the rooms are in need of an update as they are starting to look tired. The beds could be more comfortable and the bathrooms could use some attention.

The hotel is excellently located right on the waterfront, with stunning views of the bridges. The rooms are comfortable and have original features. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is cozy. Guests can also enjoy a nice walk along the beach nearby.

Some guests complained about the noise from the frequent passing trains.

As adventure travelers, we loved the stunning views of the Forth Bridges and the charming village of Queensferry. The location was perfect for our visit to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and the Tattoo, with easy access to the city via a 30-minute train ride. The food at the hotel, both for dinner and breakfast, was delicious and well-presented. The hotel staff, including the overworked manager Michelle, were all friendly and helpful. We especially appreciated the warm welcome from Kate at breakfast, giving us a true Scottish experience. the hotel provided a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

We felt special during our stay and had nothing to complain about.

The Hawes Inn offers spacious rooms with excellent breakfast options and a friendly staff. The room we stayed in was beautifully decorated with antique-style furniture and had plenty of space. The upgraded corner room with a river view was worth it, although the bed could have been bigger. The location of the hotel, right under the Forth Railway Bridge, is great, although it can get a bit noisy when trains pass overhead. The staff at the hotel were pleasant and helpful, making our short stay a good experience.

Felt like a true getaway, no complaint.
