We had a short 2 night stay visiting York, Harrogate and Knaresborough. The Kestral is ideally located for exploring these places. The staff were all wonderful and friendly, and the service at breakfast and dinner was great too. The food was reasonably priced and excellent value for money. We will definitely return in the future.

The pub also offers a warm and friendly atmosphere, perfect for unwinding after a long day. Guests have praised the comfortable rooms, and the breakfast staff have been commended for their friendliness and willingness to accommodate dietary preferences.

Some guests have mentioned that the floorboards in the rooms creak, which may cause disturbances during the night.

The value for money was excellent, and the room was fantastic with all the amenities needed. The location was great, overlooking fields, and the staff was amazing, always tending to our requests with a smile.

We had an excellent stay at this hotel. the value for money was outstanding, especially considering the prices in the area. Secondly, the attention to detail was impressive, from the clean and spacious shower in our room to the nice decor throughout the hotel. The location in the back courtyard overlooking the beautiful fields added to the overall charm. Lastly, the breakfast was a delight, with the croissants being particularly tasty.

The hotel offered ample parking and friendly staff. the lunch menu was good and promptly served by delightful waiters. the room was comfortable and we had a good night's sleep. the complimentary continental breakfast was good too, with a variety of items to choose from.

The hotel had inconsistent experiences. While the first visit was great, the second visit was not comfortable, with poor reception.

Small room, uncomfortable TV angle, noise from neighboring rooms. the room we were given was much smaller than what it appeared to be in the pictures on the website.

During our stay, we had a great time at a nice pub with great food attached to the hotel. The restaurant served exceptional meals and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The room we stayed in was beautifully decorated and had a very comfy bed. The views from the property were also stunning, adding to the overall charm of the hotel.

The thin walls in the hotel made it difficult to sleep as we could hear everything next door.

the room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. I especially loved the character of the room with its wooden beams. the staff at the inn were incredibly kind and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable. the food and pub area were also lovely and had a friendly atmosphere. the experience was good, and I would consider staying here again in the future.
