As trekkers and a group of friends, we loved the convenient location of Ivy House. Close to the town center, it was perfect for exploring St Austell. The host, James, was welcoming and made us feel at home. The comfortable rooms, ensuite bathrooms, and beautiful garden were a treat. The breakfasts were delicious, and parking was a bonus. With easy access to Heligan and the Eden Project, it was an ideal base for our adventures.

Felt totally relaxed, nothing to complain about.

the gardens were lovely, a peaceful retreat after a day of exploring. the breakfast was excellent and it was nice to chat with other guests at the communal table. a great base for exploring the area, with the train station just a short walk away.

Separate bathroom was a bit inconvenient.

The room was nice and clean, and the decor was decent. the area is quiet, which is great for visitors who want to stay away from the bustling city center. the staff was friendly and accommodating – they were able to provide us with useful information on the nearby attractions and directions to the train station.

The walls of the room were quite thin, and we could hear noise from other guests in the nearby rooms and from outside.

Ivy House was welcoming, comfortable, and immaculately clean. the location, on a quiet private road, was excellent, with a short walk to the railway station and town centre. It was the perfect base for exploring the area. the host, James, was accommodating and communication was great. the breakfast was delicious and piping hot. Ivy House Cornwall B&B provided a charming and convenient experience.

I recently had a delightful stay at this hotel and cannot recommend it enough. the location is perfect, nestled in beautiful gardens and just a stone's throw away from the train station. The stunning view over the town and countryside from my room was unmatched. Secondly, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, ensuring that my every need was met. Lastly, the rooms were spacious and clean, with an excellent shower in the en-suite bathroom. The breakfast provided was also delicious and catered perfectly to my needs. All in all, a fantastic stay.
