Our hosts at Jessop House were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. The room we stayed in was beautifully decorated, right down to the finishing touches. The location of the hotel couldn't have been better, with the stunning Abbey just a few yards away and a great selection of restaurants within easy walking distance. We also loved the comfortable outside seating area, perfect for relaxing. we had a fantastic stay at Jessop House and we can't wait to come back again.

This centrally located hotel is right in the heart of the town, making it convenient to reach all the main attractions and the bus stop. The rooms are comfortable and nicely presented, with helpful hosts. The breakfast is wholesome and freshly cooked, and the Salerno Italian Restaurant next door offers a wonderful dining experience.

The limited on-site parking may pose a challenge, but there are free pay and display car parks nearby from 5pm until 8am.

As longer term business travellers, we thoroughly enjoyed the clean and luxurious appearance of the guest-house. The owners were friendly and provided a very warm welcome upon our arrival. The suite we stayed in was well worth the extra cost as it had a comfortable sofa and a bath, rather than just a shower. The breakfasts were delicious and cooked to order, ensuring we started each day off on the right foot. we were pleased with the facilities and amenities provided during our stay.

We felt super comfortable during our stay and found that nothing was too much trouble for the owners.

We had a fantastic stay at a charming B&B in a beautiful town. The room was clean and spacious, decorated in lovely colors. While the bathroom setup was a bit unusual, it did not detract from our enjoyment of the stay. The public areas were beautifully decorated, and the location in the town center was perfect for exploring. The hosts were friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast was delicious with plenty of choices. Despite some minor inconveniences, we would highly recommend this place for a lovely stay.

The bathroom in our room had some issues, with a faulty shower door and a loose toilet roll holder. the breakfast options were not to our liking, with limited sausage choices and no fried bread on the menu.

Spacious room with 4 Poster bed, comfy sofa, ample wardrobe, and drawers. Delicious breakfast served with a smile. Thoughtful hostess lent us chairs for a local theatre production. Well-located, quality fitments, linen, and plumbing. Lovely old house near Abbey, modern clean interior, nice glasses, and big TV. Comfortable beds with cotton sheets. Courtyard seating and some parking available. Public car park nearby.

Beautifully decorated, helpful owners, booked restaurant, arranged taxis, highly recommend, would go back.

Nothing it is perfect

We were pleasantly surprised by our recent stay at a charming bed and breakfast in a historic town. The proprietors were welcoming and attentive, making us feel right at home. Our spacious bedroom had all the comforts we needed, including a cozy double bed and a well-equipped bathroom with an excellent shower. The breakfast was freshly prepared and delicious, offering a variety of options to suit our taste. We especially enjoyed the warm atmosphere and engaging conversations with other guests. our experience at this bed and breakfast was delightful, making us feel comfortable and well taken care of throughout our stay.

The creaky floors in the room were a bit annoying, but this is to be expected with such a historic property. The only other downside was the parking, as there weren't many spaces available, but there were plenty of public car parks just a short walk away.
