Recently stayed at a lovely family-run hotel in a charming village. The warm and cosy pub atmosphere made me feel right at home. The rooms were nice and cosy, providing a comfortable and quiet stay. The lunch and breakfast served were absolutely delicious, leaving me feeling satisfied. The setting of the hotel in the village was beautiful, making it easy to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The outdoor seated area, with handcrafted blankets and cushions, was a lovely touch. The staff, including Becky and Toby, provided great service with a friendly chat. The bonus quiz night was a fun addition to my stay. I had a fantastic experience and would definitely recommend this hotel for a visit.

The shower water pressure was quite low in my room, which was a bit frustrating. Additionally, the thermostat of the electric wall heater next to the bed clicked on and off, disturbing my sleep.

Lovely, quiet location. Fabulous location for visiting IWM Duxford. Personal touch and felt welcome. Clean and snug rooms. Excellent bar staff. Good food and breakfast choices. Friendly and informative staff. Unique and appealing accommodation design. Safe car park.

We had a delightful stay at the John Barleycorn. The pub's charm and cozy atmosphere were exactly what we were looking for. Our room was spacious, warm, and clean, providing us with a comfortable stay. The food served was exceptional, and the bar had a great selection of drinks. The staff were friendly and always willing to help. we had a lovely and quaint experience at this hidden gem. We highly recommend this hotel.

We had a fantastic stay at a charming pub in a beautiful village. The thatched roof added to the cozy ambience, and the bar was friendly with reasonably priced food. The car park had plenty of space and the bed was comfortable. The setting was picturesque and easy to find. The room was comfortable and quiet, with everything we needed. The outdoor seating area was a bonus, and the food was very good. The staff were welcoming and provided great service. The quiz night on Sunday was a fun addition. We would love to stay again.

Loved the hiking and cycling in the area, kept me fit. The pub atmosphere was so homely, felt like I was in my own living room. Continental breakfast was a nice touch, why bother with a full English?

Who needs good access to the M11 motorway? Sitting in traffic is my idea of a good time.
