I recently stayed at this luxurious 4-star hotel and I must say that I had a fantastic experience. The location of this place on the waterfront was absolutely stunning. I loved waking up to the breathtaking view of the sea from my comfortable and spotless room. The service provided by the staff was top-notch, with a warm and friendly welcome upon arrival. The housekeeping was excellent and the room amenities, including ironing facilities, heating, and tea/coffee facilities, enhanced my comfort throughout my stay. Additionally, the hotel had a lovely garden area with comfortable furniture where I could relax and take in the beautiful surroundings.

I would highly recommend this hotel to families as well.

The walk into town for dinner was enjoyable and convenient. we had a wonderful experience and would definitely choose to stay here again.

The breakfast was great and the rooms and facilities were perfect and comfortable. It is located in a lovely spot with fantastic views of The Firth of Lorne and the Isle of Mull. Colin and Frances, the gracious hosts, were full of local knowledge and even booked dinner for me. Highly recommended!

We had a fantastic stay at a guest house by the sea. It was such a treat to wake up to breathtaking ocean views every morning. The location was just perfect, as we could easily walk to the town center and the pier. Our room was spotless and had a beautiful view of the sea and boats. The hosts, Frances and Colin, were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay.

The allocation of certain rooms to specific customers felt a bit unfair and made us feel like second-class guests.

kilchrenan house in oban was a delightful surprise! after a previous stay in oban, i didn't expect such a wonderful experience. the room was clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. colin and frances were incredibly warm and helpful. the to-go breakfast/lunch was a lifesaver for our early ferry. perfect location too!

Upon arrival, we were informed that if we had booked directly with the hotel, we would have received a bigger room, an ocean view, and a free breakfast. I cannot recommend this property due to the unprofessional and unpleasant behavior of the owner.
