We recently stayed at a great informal country hotel up a quiet lane. Our room was huge, clean, and comfortable. the back bar had a local pub atmosphere and offered the same menu as the restaurant, which was of great quality. the made-to-order breakfast was delicious, especially the crispy bacon. a nice location with excellent staff and food.

The Kincaid House Hotel offers a beautiful conservatory overlooking the grounds, providing a lovely setting for meals. The food is delicious, with generous portions, and the service is fantastic and attentive. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and recently refurbished. The bathrooms have good water pressure and lovely baths and showers. Breakfasts are cooked to order with high-quality ingredients. The hotel has loads of character and is in good condition.

The shower water pressure is poor, resulting in a disappointing showering experience.

The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. the location was convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions and activities. I also enjoyed the delicious food served at the hotel's restaurant.

In terms of maintenance and decor. the property appeared somewhat neglected, and the interiors could benefit from updating.

We stumbled upon this hidden gem during our city trip and we were pleasantly surprised! the location was perfect, nestled in a secluded area surrounded by lush greenery and trees. the conservatory dining room was beautiful with natural light streaming in, and the menu was varied and offered some delicious options. the staff were friendly and wore traditional attire adding to the cozy atmosphere.

While the room was spacious and comfortable, it could use some soundproofing as noise from neighboring rooms was easily heard. the garden furniture could also use some updating, however, the outdoor setting was still enjoyable.

The room was well-appointed with a great ensuite and tea/coffee making facilities. the receptionist was friendly and helpful.

No elevator, making it difficult to navigate with luggage. the rooms were just okay, and considering the price, a bit expensive.

The hotel is situated in a stunning location, with a small Castle-like building that adds to its charm. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The rooms are recently refurbished and well-equipped, with beautiful updated bathrooms and fantastic showers. The attention to detail is evident throughout the hotel, from the service to the basic amenities provided. Additionally, the breakfast included in the stay is superb, offering a wide range of delicious options.

All was more than satisfactory.

Had a fantastic experience at a lovely hotel. The room was spacious with a large and comfortable bed. The food was delicious, especially the Chicken Balmoral dish. The staff showed genuine hospitality and interest in ensuring a great evening. highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel offers excellent value for money, with reasonably priced and delicious food options. The lunch specials were a great deal, and the portions were generous. The service was fantastic and very attentive, making us feel right at home. The hotel is situated in a beautiful location, with a lovely green garden surrounded by the Campsie hills. The restaurant and pub areas are tastefully decorated, with lots of period features that add to the charm. The rooms have recently been refurbished and offer top-notch facilities, including a fantastic shower. And to top it all off, the Scottish breakfast included in the stay was superb.

All aspects of our stay at this hotel were perfect.

For the price we paid, the value was exceptional. The room at Kincaid House was well-appointed and the ensuite was top-notch. The location was beautiful and the staff treated us with kindness and warmth throughout our stay.

The breakfast offerings could be improved. The bacon was consistently undercooked and not crispy as requested.
