The value for money at this small B&B was excellent, with well-appointed and clean rooms that provided a comfortable stay. The location, just on the edge of town and backing onto a beautiful river, was perfect for our visit. The hosts were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived.

The breakfast experience could be improved by having a stronger water pressure in the shower.

The host was knowledgeable about alternative cycle routes, providing maps and suggestions. Breakfast was delicious and the B&B had a unique style. Bicycles were stored safely in the garage.

The location of the hotel was excellent, being so close to the town centre and bus stops made it easy for us to explore. The cottage also had a lovely deck area overlooking the river, which was a relaxing spot to sit and enjoy the view. Our dogs particularly loved the proximity to the river.

The noise from the road outside was a bit bothersome at times.

We were made to feel very welcome at Kingfisher Cottage. Paul, our host, was incredibly friendly and attentive throughout our stay. the B&B is situated right on the bank of the river Tavy, offering a stunning view. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast in the conservatory each morning, overlooking the river - a wonderful way to start the day! the location is ideal, just a short two-minute stroll to the town center. the B&B has a nice cosy feel to it, and our room had a comfortable bed and a great view of the river. the fridge in the room stocked fresh milk 24/7, which was a nice touch. highly recommended, and we will definitely stay here again when we visit in the future.

I had a wonderful stay at a lovely stone cottage in the heart of Tavistock. the hosts, Paul and Carla, were excellent and extremely accommodating. the rooms were spacious and comfortable, and everything was spotlessly clean. I particularly enjoyed the delicious breakfast served in the beautiful conservatory overlooking the river. the hosts were also great with my pet, making it a truly enjoyable stay. I couldn't have asked for a better experience at Kingfisher Cottage.

The hosts were friendly and went out of their way to provide valuable information about the area. They even took the time to look up a place we wanted to visit. The triple-glazed windows in our room ensured a peaceful night's sleep, despite the main road outside. The room was clean, cozy, and had all the necessary amenities. The breakfast, made from locally sourced ingredients, was a true culinary delight. I can't recommend this hotel enough for its scenic location, warm hospitality, and exceptional service.

The location by the river was perfect for us and our dogs, who loved splashing around in the water. The lovely conservatory provided a great spot to relax and enjoy the view. The breakfast was amazing, better than any hotel we've stayed at before.

The parking was a bit tight, but the landlord was helpful in moving the cars as needed.

The warm welcome and friendly atmosphere at this hotel were definitely the best aspects of our Christmas stay. the staff were super friendly and made us feel like part of the family. They even helped us with directions and recommendations for places to visit in the area. Plus, the breakfast was absolutely delicious! They had a great selection of cereals and the main course was cooked to perfection.

The weather during our stay was really wet, which put a bit of a damper on our plans. However, the staff were entertaining and helpful, offering us suggestions for indoor activities to keep us occupied.
