I had the most delightful surprise during my recent overnight stay at a charming hotel in beautiful gardens. The view of the garden from my room was simply breathtaking. In addition, the dinner at the hotel was delicious, and the breakfast had a decent variety of hot food. It was definitely a pleasant and memorable experience. Despite a couple of minor drawbacks, I would highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. I was thoroughly impressed with my stay at this hotel.

We couldn't have asked for a better stay.

The breakfast lacked cooked tomatoes, served uncut. Baked beans and bacon were cold and overcooked. Poached eggs were also overdone. Room exceeded expectations, with modernized decor, glass walls, and great view. Friendly staff and value for dinner. Iron/board, comfortable bed, and good shower in room. Breakfast had reasonable options, with cooked breakfast available. Some staff lacked politeness, except for check-in. Beautiful surroundings.

Perfect location for a midway stop, not far from the A1. the staff were friendly and chatty, providing excellent service. the executive room was spacious, well-equipped, and had comfortable chairs for reading before dinner.

The room I was given after experiencing a drainage issue was half the size of the original room and had no natural light. the noise from a wedding and other guests was disruptive throughout the night.

This hotel exceeded our expectations. the value for money was fantastic; we couldn't believe how affordable our stay was. Secondly, the location was absolutely stunning, with beautiful grounds and breathtaking views of the countryside. Lastly, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived.

The food at the hotel was fantastic, especially the steak with pepper sauce and chunky chips. the service was attentive and not intrusive. the setting for the wedding was beautiful, with the ceremony taking place in a lovely conservatory. the bed in my room was comfy and the room was quiet.

The room I stayed in was very small and located next to a noisy servicing yard. the external refrigeration/AC units kept turning on and off all night, and the outside light was left on as well.

had an amazing stay in pontefract, chasing northern lights. kings croft exceeded expectations with friendly staff, delicious meals, and excellent facilities. the beautiful setting and comfortable rooms with patios made it even better!

We arrived early and were pleasantly surprised that our room was ready. The room was a good size and had all the necessary facilities, including a hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. The bed was comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere and the meals were cooked well. Despite being warned about potential noise from a wedding party, it ended promptly at midnight. a fairly reasonable stay.
