We had a wonderful stay at a hotel by the loch with stunning views. The rooms were spacious and had large picture windows, allowing us to enjoy the beautiful scenery. We even hiked up the hill behind the hotel for an amazing view of the surrounding area. The staff was professional and attentive, with the head woman promptly resolving any issues we had, like getting a new television. The food was deliciously presented and the menu changed each evening. The hotel's serene setting, fine antiques, and warm staff made our stay truly memorable.

During my Christmas stay, I was impressed by the country charm of the hotel. the staff was attentive and friendly, always making sure I had everything I needed. the fireplace in the sitting room and the warm cozy atmosphere made it feel like home. I also appreciate that they offered made-to-order breakfasts, and the dinner was particularly delicious. the surroundings were beautiful and perfect for peaceful walks, and the location was convenient for visiting nearby attractions.

The bathroom in my room was in need of some updates, and the tap water had a noticeable brown color. the hotel was a bit isolated, which made it difficult to find places to eat outside of the hotel.

The hotel, Knipoch, had a stunning atmosphere and beautiful location. the seating in the lounge was very comfortable, and the staff, especially the waitresses, were friendly and helpful. They gave us great advice on local attractions, which shaped our decisions during our stay. the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the food, like the prawn cocktail and pancake with Drambuie sauce, was delicious. it was a must-stay experience.

Everything about it exudes comfort and great service. the rooms are large and comfortable, with incredibly comfy beds. the bathrooms are fantastic, and the hotel provides nice touches like chocolates, biscuits, and a teapot. the sitting rooms are spacious and cozy, with large leather sofas and fires. the garden overlooking the loch, filled with daffodils, is simply beautiful. the whole place is furnished like a country home, with good art on the walls. the staff is exceptionally friendly and polite. And let's not forget about the food – it is absolutely delicious, with a limited menu but offering real delicacies. the smoked salmon and fillet of trout on a warm salad of asparagus are to die for. I loved my stay here and would have stayed longer if I could. A visit to the nearby island of Seil and the old slate quarries is highly recommended as well.
