The location of this place was wonderful - with boats on the doorstep, ready to take you off to Bowness or Ambleside. The views were stunning, and the service from the staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. They spent time speaking to my children and attended to every need. The amenities were excellent throughout, with a leisure spa & wellness centre, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a sauna, jacuzzi, and more. They even had live entertainment and a sun terrace. The hotel also offered free Wi-Fi in public areas and had an on-site car park. I was thoroughly impressed with the quality and comfort provided.

The Lakeside Hotel And Spa is ideally located in the Lake District, with convenient access to the M6 and Windermere Centre. It is also right on the shores of Lake Windermere, providing a stunning backdrop for your stay. The rooms are beautifully clean and well-appointed, with picture windows offering breathtaking views of the lake. The staff are extremely helpful, and the breakfast options are plentiful. The spa facilities, including the pool and steam room, are a great way to relax and unwind.

The menu at the lakeview restaurant has higher prices compared to the John Ruskin restaurant, which doesn't make much sense.

The location of this hotel is fantastic, right on Lake Windermere, and next to a steamer departure point and an aquarium. The hotel facilities were clean and well-maintained. The parking and transportation services were convenient, allowing us to explore nearby towns without driving. The staff were friendly and helpful.

We had a wonderful time here! The location was absolutely perfect for exploring the beautiful lake area. The hotel itself was luxurious and provided enhanced comfort and quality services. The rooms were spacious and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The tea and coffee facilities in the room and the quality toiletries provided added an extra level of convenience. The staff were friendly and efficient, always going above and beyond to ensure that we had everything we needed. The spa area was clean and new, and the kids absolutely loved it. this place provided a truly relaxing and enjoyable experience.

This place is more suited for adults looking for a treat rather than families with lots of loud kids. The atmosphere is a bit formal, so it may not be the best choice for families with rambunctious children.

Just got back from a lovely weekend at Lakeside Hotel And Spa. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, making our stay even more enjoyable. The beds were super comfy and it was great being so close to the ferry port. Plus, the free parking was an added bonus!

Additionally, the room we stayed in was incredibly comfortable and clean.

The only downside was that the room was quite warm, and it would have been nice to have a fan available, although we understand that the weather was unusually hot during our stay.

One drawback was the parking situation, where guests had to pay for daytime parking. some of the rooms were a bit far from the main areas, requiring a bit of walking.
