Family room had comfy duvets, mirrors, spaciousness, and ornate ceilings. Nice touches included cotton pads, small decanter of whiskey, and chocolates. Excellent lake view and convenient park. Polite staff, owners checked in and ensured our needs were met. Will definitely return!

As young people, we absolutely loved our stay at the Lakeview Guest House. The room was spotless and had everything we needed. The warm and friendly reception made us feel right at home. The breakfast was excellent and the price was unbeatable. We have stayed in more expensive guest houses before, but none can compare to the Lakeview.

The hotel was spotlessly clean and in a very convenient location. There was plenty of parking available, and the hosts were excellent, providing lovely breakfasts. the beds were made and clean towels provided daily, and there were tea, coffee, and a bottle of water in the room. a highly recommended stay with great service and amenities.

The only minor downside was that the bathroom was a little on the small side and the sink was located in the bedroom itself. However, these were only minor details and did not really detract from the overall positive experience.

I stayed at Lakeview Guest House for one night while on a stopover. The location is perfect, with pubs, cafes, and shops nearby. The room and en-suite shower were spotlessly clean and comfortable. Elaine, the host, was polite and efficient, even offering a breakfast to go as I had an early ferry to catch. The ferry terminal is just a short drive away, making it very convenient. Highly recommended!

The rooms are comfortable and clean, with excellent showers and tasty breakfast options. The staff are friendly and helpful, making guests feel welcome and safe. The hotel also offers WiFi and is within walking distance of the town center and local facilities, including a delicious chip shop.

Not obvious to find

This hotel offered excellent value for money. With prices starting at just £68 a night, including a delicious breakfast, it was a great deal. The attention to detail was impressive, from the fresh milk and water in the fridge to the robes and the little decanter of lovely Scottish whiskey. The hotel's location was also fantastic, right next to the sea and not far from the center of town. Plus, it was easy to explore other towns as they were just a short bus ride away.
