the location was fantastic, surrounded by nature with beautiful greenery and mountains. It was the perfect starting point for visiting all the nearby tourist destinations. the cottage itself was clean, although the interior was a bit outdated, it was well-maintained. I especially loved the view of the surrounding hills and the sheep roaming around the area. the proximity to the Skye ferry made it a great stopover before heading to Skye. the shop in the nearby Glenelg had a good supply of groceries and the meals at the local pub were excellent. the heating and hot water in the cottage were a blessing in the unpredictable weather. I also appreciated the beneficial laundry service and the opportunity to enjoy a game of pool with the available pool table.

We stayed in a newly refurbished chalet at Lamont Chalets Villa and it was excellent. the kitchen was very well stocked and we had piping hot water. the owner was lovely and the location was perfect for accessing local beaches and Eilan Donan castle. the local village was friendly and had an excellently stocked small shop. the view from the chalet was breathtaking, with three Munros merging right in front of us. We also appreciated being able to bring our dog along.

No Vodafone signal in the chalet, only in the village. 📵

The elderly owner was very kind and upgraded us to a spacious bungalow with a full kitchen. The chalets were well apart, providing plenty of privacy, and the view of the mountains was breathtaking. The facilities, including a laundry room and games room, were an added bonus. The location was perfect for exploring the nearby tourist destinations, and there was a good sandy beach and a grocery store nearby. a fantastic stay surrounded by nature.

The location was absolutely stunning, with breathtaking scenery and an adventurous approach. the nearby beach offered spectacular views, and the walk to the village was a pleasant way to spend time outdoors. the spacious cabins were well-equipped, with fantastic kitchen equipment and good wifi connection.

Some parts of the cabins felt dated, with slight issues like a sagging floor in the kitchen area and a non-working bedside light. the lack of mobile phone signal, although enjoyable for some, could be potentially dangerous without a functioning communal phone.

I had an incredible stay at the chalet. The facilities were top-notch and had everything I needed. It was clean, cozy, and warm, making me feel right at home. The views from the chalet were absolutely breathtaking, surrounded by the stunning Scottish countryside. The location was perfect for exploring the West Highlands and even had easy access to Skye with a nearby ferry. Effie, the proprietor, was incredibly responsive and made my arrival and stay hassle-free. the best aspects were the cleanliness, facilities, location, and helpful staff.
