A most enjoyable stay. The landlord was a legend!! On the afternoon we arrived, it was raining steadily and there was a long line for taxis. But Richard, the landlord, went above and beyond by picking us up from the station and even dropping us off at Edinburgh Castle. It was exceptional service! The guesthouse location was great and the room was clean and comfortable. Despite a minor issue with towels not being replaced, the overall experience was fantastic. I would highly recommend this guesthouse to others. I had a wonderful stay and would definitely return in the future.

The guest house is perfectly located, within walking distance of Princes Street and just opposite Calton Hill. The room was comfortable and well-equipped, with all the amenities we needed. The independent check-in system allowed us to come and go as we pleased. The bed was incredibly comfy and we had a great night's sleep. Additionally, the microwave and fridge in the corridor were a nice touch.

The shower could be more powerful.

I loved staying at this hotel! the location was fantastic - tucked away on a quiet Georgian street, it provided the perfect peaceful retreat after a busy day exploring the city center. The fact that there was a bus stop just a few meters away made it super convenient to get around. Secondly, the staff were wonderful - they paid great attention to detail and made sure everything was in order, from the private coded access to the pleasant traditional decor in the rooms. Lastly, the breakfast was delicious - a great way to start the day before heading out to explore the amazing location just a few minutes' walk away.

I stayed in a basement room at a budget hotel in a popular tourist town. the room was just what I needed, with free wireless internet and a comfortable bed. the hotel was conveniently located very close to the city center, making it easy to visit the main attractions by foot. the price was unbeatable, especially considering that I was able to book a last-minute stay with no hassle.

As for the negatives, the room's amenities were a bit basic. Breakfast wasn't included, and there was no fridge in the room.

Despite being close to a busy road, my room at the rear of the building was quiet. The separate fridge in the room was a great addition for storing fresh milk and snacks. Richard, the owner, was incredibly kind and helpful, providing useful advice on exploring the city. it was a pleasant stay with excellent amenities.
