A most enjoyable stay. The landlord was a legend!! On the afternoon we arrived, it was raining steadily and there was a long line for taxis. But Richard, the landlord, went above and beyond by picking us up from the station and even dropping us off at Edinburgh Castle. It was exceptional service! The guesthouse location was great and the room was clean and comfortable. Despite a minor issue with towels not being replaced, the overall experience was fantastic. I would highly recommend this guesthouse to others. I had a wonderful stay and would definitely return in the future.

The guest house is perfectly located, within walking distance of Princes Street and just opposite Calton Hill. The room was comfortable and well-equipped, with all the amenities we needed. The independent check-in system allowed us to come and go as we pleased. The bed was incredibly comfy and we had a great night's sleep. Additionally, the microwave and fridge in the corridor were a nice touch.

The shower could be more powerful.

My room at Lantern Guest House was spacious and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was exceptionally cozy, and I had a great night's sleep. Richard, the host, was incredibly helpful and provided me with excellent recommendations for exploring the city. I also appreciated the convenient location, as everything in Edinburgh was easily accessible. I had a very pleasant experience and would definitely recommend this guest house.
