The location was ideal, surrounded by gardens, woods, and fields that offered picturesque walks. We got great value for our money at Lewtrenchard Manor Guest House. The room was charming and filled with unique period features. The location was convenient, close to Tavistock and Dartmoor, and the staff treated us with politeness and helpfulness throughout our stay.

Enjoyed a fabulous private dining experience at Purple Carrot, where I could pretend to be a MasterChef judge. Also loved exploring the Trail between Barnstaple and Bideford on my bike, feeling like a Tour de France champion.

Oh, what a shame there was no Olympic-sized swimming pool for me to practice my synchronized swimming routine. How disappointing!

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly helpful and polite, and were willing to assist with all tasks. The room we stayed in was lovely, with a comfortable four-poster bed. The service we received was truly five-star, with the staff going above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The food at the hotel was fantastic, from the delicious afternoon tea to the amazing New Year's Eve party. The hotel also had a lot of history, and we even got to take a tour of the house.
