The warm welcome, spacious room, and beautiful en-suite were all highlights. The high-quality towels and linens added to our comfortable stay. The character of the old house and the large sitting room for guests were lovely. We appreciated the complimentary drinks in the evening and the peacefulness of the house's secluded location in its expansive garden. we had a delightful experience at Limefield House.

Limefield House Guest House was a true gem! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a warm welcome and personalized attention. the property itself was breathtaking, even in the winter evening. the mansion house was beautifully decorated, with a tasteful and elegant touch. the hosts, Iain and Grieg, had a great eye for art and the whole ambiance was simply delightful. the breakfast was cooked to order and absolutely delicious. They were even accommodating with our breakfast time, which was a bonus. Iain was incredibly helpful in providing directions, local recommendations, and arranging transportation to the wedding venue and into Edinburgh. the added touches and the cozy sitting room made our stay all the more memorable. We only wish we had booked for more than two nights. We will definitely be back!

The location of the hotel is very peaceful and quiet, nestled away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The beautiful garden provides a relaxing spot to unwind and enjoy the nature. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home during your stay. The rooms are tastefully decorated and offer a homely feeling, with large windows that provide plenty of natural light. The breakfast is delicious and served in a charming dining room. the location and atmosphere of the hotel create a truly peaceful and enjoyable experience.

There were a few issues with some of the rooms, particularly in the attic area. The narrow and winding stairway to reach the rooms can be quite challenging, especially for those with mobility issues.

limefield house was even better than my previous stay in livingston. the owners were friendly, the decor was tasteful, and the breakfast was delicious. loved the dog-friendly aspect too!

The stay at the hotel was amazing. The room was spacious and had all the necessary amenities. The bathroom was great and had a lovely shower. The small kitchen in the room was really convenient for quick snacks or microwave meals. The location of the hotel was perfect, with easy access to nearby attractions. The host was superb and made our stay even better.

One thing that could have been better was the lack of a desk or table in the room. It was a bit awkward trying to work on my computer while sitting on the settee.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The friendly and warm welcome immediately put us at ease. We were offered tea upon arrival, and the owner took the time to give us a tour of the hotel and its facilities. It was clear that they were dedicated to ensuring we had the best possible stay. The hotel had a beautiful lawn and a charming drawing room with classic sofas and paintings. The breakfast was brilliant with plenty of choices. The staff were incredibly welcoming, accommodating, and easy-going. The hotel's grounds were lovely, and the house itself was filled with interesting artifacts and paintings. it was a really lovely stay.

We got great value for our money with fresh fruit, a nice fry up, and plenty of space for breakfast at Limefield House. The staff gave us a warm welcome and provided all the toiletries we needed without having to ask. The house had wonderful character and a homely feel.

Limefield House Guest House exceeded our expectations in terms of value for money. The room was not only beautifully decorated but also comfortable and well-equipped. The location was ideal for our needs and the staff were incredibly helpful and pleasant, going above and beyond to assist us during our stay.
