Attended a nearby Ruby Wedding party and stayed at Lion and Fiddle for 2 nights. Excellent location, friendly and helpful staff, tasty breakfast, amazing Nepalese restaurant, great selection of real ales. Definitely recommend for future stays.

Excellent Food and Convenient Location

the accommodation was reasonably priced, clean, and conveniently located for visiting nearby attractions like Bath and Stonehenge. One improvement could be providing clearer information about additional charges for breakfast and offering more flexibility with breakfast bookings.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was surprisingly good with decent sausages and delicious bacon. The room was clean and tidy, which was a plus.

The noise outside from the pub customers was quite loud, especially if you needed an early night.

The room was absolutely lovely, surprisingly quiet with minimal traffic noise from the road. The food at the attached restaurant was mind-blowingly good, surpassing all Indian restaurants I've been to. The host was incredibly welcoming and friendly. The new ownership truly transformed this hotel, with staff catering to our every need. The Nepalese restaurant was a true gem, offering fast service, reasonably priced and extremely delicious food. The bar area was pleasantly calm and never too loud, ensuring a good night's sleep. The breakfast was fantastic and served on time. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was spacious, sparkling clean, with a good bathroom and all the amenities we needed. The bar and restaurant were both spacious and the breakfast was a welcomely delicious experience. I highly recommend this property.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming hotel. the staff at Lion And Fiddle were incredibly welcoming and friendly, allowing us to drop off our bags early. Our rooms were comfortable, clean, and kept warm even during stormy weather. the bed was exceptionally comfortable. We decided to eat at the Nepalese restaurant on both evenings and were delighted by the excellent food, which was also popular with the locals. the breakfasts we chose were beautifully cooked and served in a sparkling dining room with great service. the hotel's convenient on-site parking made our stay even easier. We would definitely stay here again and will gladly recommend it to others.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and had new windows that blocked outside noise. The on-site restaurant served fresh and delicious Indian food. The hotel bar had a nice selection of beer and the bar staff were great. The included English breakfast was tasty. it was a good value and a very clean and comfortable hotel.

For us, it was ideal.

They were always willing to assist and made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. the unique Nepalese character of the venue and restaurant added an interesting and enjoyable touch to my experience. the food options, including a wide variety of cold and hot options, were excellent and the cooked breakfast was particularly delicious.

We had a lovely stay at this accommodation in Trowbridge. the room was quiet and well-appointed, with a spacious bathroom and all the amenities we needed. the staff were friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. the attached Nepalese restaurant served delicious food at reasonable prices, and we also enjoyed a fantastic breakfast. We were so impressed that we have already booked another stay for our return visit.
