I had a fantastic stay at a charming inn in a great location. the staff at Punch House were incredibly friendly and helpful. the bedroom was beautifully decorated with clean, comfortable bedding. the shower was excellent and toiletries were provided. the traditional breakfast was a good value for money and kept us energized for the day. the inn is conveniently located near shops, and the area is perfect for exploring. a wonderful experience.

I recently stayed at Punch House for a few nights and had a wonderful experience. The staff was exceptional, going above and beyond to ensure my stay was enjoyable. The room I stayed in was the Large Four Poster Room, which offered stunning views and a very comfortable bed. I also appreciated the fact that the hotel is extremely dog-friendly, and the historic building was beautifully decorated for Christmas. Additionally, the town itself has great shopping and is surrounded by stunning countryside and castles.

Would definitely recommend this hotel.

We had a comfortable stay at The Punch House, conveniently located in the heart of town. The room was nicely equipped with cozy bed linens and a good selection of tea. The staff was friendly and served a simple but satisfactory breakfast. Despite some street noise, it was a great base for exploring the area. I would recommend this hotel for its value and location.

The location of the hotel was perfect for our romantic escape. It was situated in the heart of a charming town with plenty of activities and shops to explore. We particularly enjoyed being within walking distance of the river for a leisurely stroll. the staff was welcoming and efficient, ensuring a smooth check-in process.

One aspect that we found disappointing was the noise level in the hotel. Since it was situated near a busy square, there was a fair amount of noise from the street, which made it difficult to sleep peacefully.

This hotel is located in a fantastic spot at the top of the high street, right in the center of town. You can easily explore all the shops and attractions on foot. Plus, the hotel rooms offer a lovely view of the pretty town of Monmouth and the bustling Agincourt Square. I was pleasantly surprised to find a bathtub in the room, along with a fairly decent shower. Another great thing about this hotel is the friendly staff who provided good service throughout my stay.

The breakfast options were a bit excessive with soup included.

Lovely pub/hotel overlooking Agincourt Square. Decently priced beer and welcoming, pleasant staff. Great location with other pubs nearby. Comfortable room with a decent shower. Spotlessly clean and homely atmosphere. Greeted warmly by Vickie and team, and made to feel welcome throughout our stay. Staff were the best part, and Elvis the Chihuahua was fussed over the whole time. Beautiful and clean room with everything needed. If we stay in the area again, we'll definitely be returning to The Punch House. Thanks for a great few days.

The location of this hotel is fantastic, right at the top of the bustling high street. It's so convenient to be close to everything, with shops, restaurants, and attractions just a stone's throw away.

Despite the many positives, noise from the street can sometimes be a bit of an issue.

Great location, cosy and well-heated room, easy check-in and checkout, friendly and welcoming staff, interesting old building, spacious 4-poster room.

stayed here before in monmouth but this time exceeded expectations. lovely central location, clean rooms, friendly staff, and accommodating with extra pillows for husband's cracked ribs. easy check-in, decent menu selection, and convenient location.

keys didn't work well

I had a great stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. The location was convenient, with the hotel being close to the Museum, Castle, and shops. The hotel facilities were clean and well-maintained. I also enjoyed the breakfast served here, it was delicious and a great way to start the day.

Everything was great, but there were a few minor issues. The noise from the traffic outside was a bit bothersome due to the single pane glass windows.

Great value for money, the rooms were clean and comfortable. The central location was perfect and the staff were friendly and helpful.

The only improvement needed for breakfast items would be ensuring they are served hot and cooked properly.
