My family and I recently stayed at Lledr House in Dolwyddelan and we were pleasantly surprised by the value we got for our money. The lodge we stayed in was a little slice of luxury, tucked away from the main hostel but still close enough to feel safe. The kids adored the chickens too! It was equipped with everything we needed for self-catering, making our stay hassle-free. The location was charming and parking was ample. Despite a rough journey, we were able to check in early, which was a nice touch. The modern bathrooms and great showers were an added bonus.

The only thing that could have made our stay even better was if the hotel had provided towels. It would have been nice to have hand towels available for washing hands as well.

The location is simply stunning, surrounded by beautiful woodlands and offering a peaceful and serene escape from the city. The communal areas are well-maintained and provide a comfortable space to relax and socialize with other guests. The kitchen is fully equipped, making it easy to prepare meals and save on dining out expenses.

The rooms could benefit from some updating to enhance the overall comfort and ambiance of the stay.

We had an amazing stay at Lledr House in the heart of Snowdonia. The location was absolutely stunning, surrounded by scenic beauty and close to local attractions. We loved that the local train station was within walking distance and that there were bus stops right at the hostel, making transportation a breeze. One unique feature was waking up to the sound of sheep baaing in the morning. The fully equipped kitchen and lovely common room made us feel right at home. The bunk beds were super comfy, and having USB plugs in the room was a convenient touch. this hostel provided excellent value for money, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Lovely homely atmosphere, very quiet at night, beautifully appointed rooms with quality furniture and linen, clean everywhere, great location, huge kitchen with all necessary amenities, plenty of bathrooms and showers, nice common room with good TV channel selections.

The bed was too soft and uncomfortable, especially when sharing with someone. the host was not very attentive and not very hospitable.

I recently stayed at a lovely hostel situated in a perfect location. The kitchen area was well-equipped and the lounge area was cozy and clean. I enjoyed watching Sky TV on the flat-screen TV and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The shower rooms were modern and spotless, and the owners were pleasant and helpful. The view from the room was breathtaking, with a beautiful river just across the road. I loved being able to take a walk by the river. I highly recommend this facility.

There was only one minor issue during my stay. The wifi was a bit intermittent and didn't work well at times.

Stayed with my niece, great twin room with a sink. Spotless showers and bathrooms. Kitchen was clean and well-equipped. Beautiful location, lots to explore on foot. Friendly owner and staff. Would definitely stay again if I visit the area.

We had a fantastic stay at Lledr House! the owner was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making sure we had everything we needed before leaving us to enjoy our stay. the room was clean and fresh, with open windows providing a lovely scent. the bedsheets were immaculate, despite my best efforts to mess them up! the hostel itself was exceptional, with comfortable and well-furnished rooms. the facilities, including the kitchen and common room, were excellent. the location was also convenient, situated on a main road and close to the sites we wanted to visit. great value for money and a wonderful experience.

Gas hobs in kitchen didn't work.

Located in a charming 19th century building, the hostel offers clean and comfortable rooms. The bathrooms are beautiful and provide plenty of hot water. The kitchen and lounge area are well-equipped and suitable for all ages. Guests praised the owner for being friendly and welcoming, providing a pleasant experience. The power showers in the separate cabin were also highly praised.

Some guests mentioned that the walls were not soundproof, leading to disturbances from noisy children and snoring neighbors.

lledr house surprised me-this old property exceeded my expectations. the room was tidy and cosy, with great shower facilities. the owners were friendly and their dog was adorable. the social atmosphere and beautiful surroundings made it a great value for money experience. i'd book again!
