loch leven hotel & distillery offered an outstanding view of the mountains, creating a stunning backdrop. the room, though smallish, was very comfy with all the necessary amenities. the charming little bar at the back of the hotel added a cozy touch. the staff were all friendly and provided excellent service. the dinner was delicious, and the continental breakfast, though due to staff shortage, was a delightful spread of ham, cheeses.

The hotel location is perfect for exploring the surrounding areas including Glen Lochan, Steall Falls, and the Hidden Valley. the restaurant on the river offers a lovely dining experience with nice views. the rooms are comfortable and well-stocked, providing a cozy retreat after a day of hiking. Additionally, the breakfast is delicious and really sets you up for the day.

Some minor room maintenance could enhance the experience further.

Outstanding View: the view from the room was absolutely breathtaking, like a scene from a painting. Waking up to the stunning mountains every morning felt magical, a true feast for the eyes!

What a dreamy location! Nestled by a picturesque lake and stunning rolling hills, it was a romantic escape made in heaven. the room was cozy and spotless, with a hearty Scottish breakfast to fuel our days exploring the nearby road. Even the whisky bar was a nice touch, though a tad more variety would be perfect.

Pricey for what it offers. Our pet-friendly room was a bit cramped for two and a dog.
