We had an excellent value for our money at Lochside Hotel. The room was beautifully decorated and the bathroom was also very well done. The location, with its stunning views over Loch Indaal, was perfect. The staff treated us with utmost warmth and kindness.

The morning meal could have been improved with a wider selection of options.

My recent stay at a hotel in Bowmore was fantastic. The location was perfect, right on the main road, making it easy to find and get around. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The room was immaculately clean, and despite being small, it was cozy and comfortable. The view from the window was absolutely stunning – a real treat to wake up to. I had a great experience and I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel.

The view from the window was absolutely breathtaking, especially while sitting on the bed. the staff were mostly friendly and tried their best to be helpful. the recently refurbished room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

The room was extremely small and lacked any storage space, making it difficult for two people to stay comfortably. the noise from the bar downstairs was quite disruptive, especially during the late hours.

Had a delightful stay at Lochside in Bowmore. Large, modern room with a great whisky bar offering tasting boards. Breakfast spread was amazing, with a wide selection. Ideal location near distillery, shops, and harbor. Cozy room with a tea kettle and friendly staff. Lovely restaurant with a beautiful view. Excellent food and spotlessly clean room. World-class manager handled everything brilliantly, despite peak festival season.

As backpackers, we absolutely loved the artistic and quirky decor of the hotel, creating a unique and charming atmosphere. The well-stocked bar with an impressive selection of Islay single malts was a delightful surprise. The conservatory dining room provided breathtaking views of Loch Indaal at sunset, where we indulged in the delicious scallops and sea bass. The room was clean, comfortable, and tastefully decorated, offering a peaceful retreat after a long day of exploring. The friendly and efficient staff made us feel welcome and the quality of the food for breakfast was exceptional.

This hotel is a hidden gem in the heart of a picturesque island. Its central location near the bus station makes it perfect for exploring the island's beauty and charm. Our room, complete with comfortable beds and chairs, offered a fantastic sea view that left us in awe. The attention to detail in the basic amenities and the friendly and helpful staff made our stay truly enjoyable. And let's not forget the breakfast with a great view overlooking the water - it was a delightful start to each day.

Although there were minor hiccups during our stay, they did not detract from the overall experience.

the lochside hotel in bowmore exceeded all expectations during our honeymoon trip. from the outstanding staff to the amazing views of the loch, everything was perfect. the breakfast was excellent, and the range of whisky at the bar was impressive. the food, especially the steak and haddock, was superb. can't wait to visit again!

Spent Xmas holidays here and overall it was a decent stay. Conveniently situated in the town center with plenty of parking available around. Enjoyed the extensive whisky menu at the bar. the staff were friendly and accommodating. They even packed us breakfast to go on the morning we checked out. had a great view of the lake from our room.

The room was small and cramped, with barely any storage space. We had to step over our suitcases to get around.

The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Bowmore, just a short walk from all the attractions and right next to a pub. The rooms are spacious and modern, with sea views over the harbor pier. The tiled bathrooms have nice showers and there are USB outlets in the rooms for charging your devices. The service is friendly and the breakfast is delicious, with a great variety of options.
