We decided to eat in the less formal bar area, where we enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and friendly service. The bar had a wide range of drinks, including local craft beers and cocktails. The location in the small harbour nearby added to the charm of our dining experience. The staff were attentive and made sure we had everything we needed.

The wait for our food was quite long, which was a bit disappointing.

The staff at this charming historic hotel in Carnlough were incredibly accommodating, going above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The delicious food and cozy room with a lovely view added to the experience. Although the hotel could benefit from a facelift, the warm service more than made up for it.

During my recent stay at the charming venue in Carnlough, I was impressed by the warm welcome from the staff. The room provided all the necessary amenities, including a comfortable double bed and a flatscreen TV. The homemade brown bread, known as "wheaten", served during mealtime was absolutely delicious. Additionally, the proximity to the sea and small harbor added a touch of serenity to my stay. I highly recommend this hotel for its character and excellent service.

The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was located in a beautiful part of Northern Ireland, surrounded by stunning scenery. Also, the breakfast was decent and offered a variety of options to choose from.

The hotel has seen better days. The towels were old and thin, and the bed wasn't comfortable. The lift was small, slow and very cramped. Some money needs to be invested to repair and upgrade the hotel facilities. It's a shame, as the location is great, but the overall experience was underwhelming.

Lastly, the breakfast provided was absolutely delicious, offering a wide range of options to suit all tastes.

They even went out of their way to assist us in attending an event in a nearby town, as taxi services were limited. We also enjoyed spending time at the local bar and admiring the stunning harbor views. It truly felt like a little piece of heaven.
