We had an amazing time at a hostel right on the beach. the staff was friendly, and there were plenty of amenities like a common lounge area and a full kitchen. the location was fantastic, with everything we needed within walking distance. the hostel had a keyless pass code entry system, which was convenient. They also offered rental services for activities like surfing and biking at affordable prices. it was one of the best hostel experiences we've had, and we would definitely recommend it to others.

The location of the hostel, right on the beach, was amazing, with easy access to local amenities and a vibrant nightlife. I felt welcomed and had the opportunity to connect with diverse and friendly people. I highly recommend California Dreams Hostel for a memorable stay.

The best aspects of my weekend stay were the convenient location and the cleanliness of the hotel. It was so nice to be within walking distance of the beach, restaurants, and grocery stores. I appreciated the opportunity to meet new people and make friends in the common areas of the hotel.

The worst aspect of my weekend stay was the limited bathroom space. With only one shower available in each dorm room, it became inconvenient to plan showers and sometimes had to wait for long periods of time.

I had the most amazing stay at this hostel - California Dreams - in Pacific Beach. the receptionists were fantastic, always friendly and helpful. the bathroom shower was absolutely phenomenal, and the tacos place right across the street was fantastic too! the location is perfect, just a minute and a half away from the beautiful beach. the staff here are amazing too, with great energy and always ready to engage with the guests. the vibe is relaxing and social, and I ended up extending my stay because it was so hard to leave. this is my favorite hostel ever.

We also enjoyed the breakfast options, which included bagels, fruits, cereals, coffee, and teas. The rental shop on-site was a big plus, allowing us to easily rent bikes, surfboards, and other outdoor equipment. The hostel also had a schedule of free or affordable activities, like the free yoga class we attended by the ocean. Lastly, we couldn't resist the delicious fish tacos we found at a nearby restaurant for just $1.50 – a great deal!
