The staff offered great day trip suggestions and the best way to reach London. Breakfast was a tasty full English meal. The hotel grounds had lovely walking paths, ponds, and wildlife. The rooms were cozy and had everything we needed.

Great country walks around and beautiful building with stunning gardens. As a plus, the log fire in the bar was cozy. the remote location made it ideal for a quiet new year with two friends.

Fantastic breakfast. Gorgeous property and setting. Lovely big, comfortable double bed. Friendly staff, especially the barman. Beautiful lake nearby for swimming and picnics. Perfect for a relaxing stay.
