From the moment of our arrival to the moment of our departure, I felt like I was in good hands at Lyzzick Hall. The staff, the ambience, the decor, and the food were all absolutely fantastic. The lunch we had on Saturday for our family party of six adults was superb. We booked based on the recommendation of a local taxi driver, and we were not disappointed. The location and views added to the overall experience, and it truly felt like Christmas in September. Thank you to the team at Lyzzick Hall for making our family lunch a truly memorable experience. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and the hotel made it feel extra special. During our stay at Lyzzick Hall, we were immediately captivated by the charming countryside setting. Nestled down a tranquil lane, the location offers breathtaking views and convenient access to the stunning Skiddaw for those seeking outdoor adventures. Our room, "Robinson," was not only comfortable and well-appointed but also provided a serene atmosphere with a picturesque view.

The big bed in our room was super comfy, and the modern bathroom was a pleasant surprise. We also loved the fact that the hotel had a great pool, which was never crowded, so we had plenty of room to swim and relax. the breakfast served was delicious and satisfying, with a wide variety of options to choose from.

The narrow corridors in the building were a bit confusing to navigate, making it feel like a bit of a maze to find our room. the restaurant seemed a little too formal for our liking, so we opted to dine in the nearby town.

We got great value for our money at Lyzzick Hall - everything from the room to the staff was top-notch. The location was fantastic, with stunning views and just a short distance from town. The staff treated us like VIPs and made our stay extra special.

We spent Christmas at a hotel in Cumbria and had a good time, but we were not completely satisfied. the hotel was situated in a beautiful location, surrounded by lovely gardens and wonderful mountain views. the hotel staff was friendly and accommodating, and they went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. Breakfast was inexpensive and delicious, and the room was spotless.

The rooms were small and crowded, and the walls were paper-thin. We were annoyed by the noise coming from the adjacent rooms.
