We had an amazing stay at Macdonald Lochanhully Resort! The cabin was spacious and had a beautiful sun room where we enjoyed our breakfast while watching the sunrise. It was so peaceful and relaxing, especially because we visited during the off-season when there were very few people around. The location was great too, with plenty of nearby attractions to explore. Even though there were a few minor drawbacks, like slightly dated furniture and a small sofa, it didn't detract from our overall positive experience. We highly recommend this resort for a rejuvenating getaway.

Nothing all excellent.

We had such a great time at this cozy resort with our group of friends! The location was perfect, just next to a little park which the kids loved, and we were able to enjoy some beautiful river walks nearby. And for more excitement, just down the road was the Landmark Centre theme park. The rooms were comfortable and the staff was friendly. We also had a delicious breakfast in the on-site restaurant. a fantastic stay with lots of family-friendly activities nearby.

One small downside was that the beds were a bit uncomfortable.

We loved the excellent food and friendly service in the on-site restaurant and bar. The location of the cottages was perfect, nestled in a lovely woodland setting with lots of wildlife. The ducks and rabbits would even come right up to our cottage. It was a great base for exploring the surrounding area, as it was close to all the places we had booked prior to arriving. The hotel facilities were clean and well-maintained, and there was plenty of parking available. Additionally, the staff were very welcoming and efficient, making our stay even more enjoyable.

We stayed at Macdonald Lochanhully Resort for 3 nights and had a wonderful, peaceful experience. The lodges were modern and well-equipped, with all the amenities we needed. The staff, especially Ruth Graham and Penny Jackson, were amazing and helped us during a swimming pool incident. The cabin itself was impressive, with spacious rooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and a lovely conservatory. The property also had a large lake and marked walking paths, perfect for outdoor activities. a fantastic stay!

The location was perfect for exploring the surrounding area, with easy access to the main roads. the staff were friendly and helpful, providing great service throughout our stay. We also enjoyed the on-site pool and the activities available at the resort.

There were no food and drink facilities on-site, which was disappointing as we had to travel further to find places to eat. Additionally, everything seemed to shut down quite early, so we couldn't enjoy the pool or sauna after dinner.

I had a wonderful stay at Macdonald. The cabins were cozy and perfect for a quiet retreat. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I loved waking up to the sight of red squirrels outside. The leisure facilities were small but well-maintained, and the restaurant offered quick and tasty food. The staff were friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel!

Lovely lodge with a nice kitchen area, perfect for our stay. Good shower pressure and a comfortable bed with wardrobe space. Plenty of walks in the area, from local trails to the Cairngorms. Staff were friendly, welcoming, and efficient. The cabins were warm and well-equipped. Despite the absence of an onsite pool and restaurant, the staff were accommodating and eager to help with alternatives. Great location with a beautiful lochside walk and a friendly peacock, squirrels, and ducks around.

Surrounded by nature, with birds and ducks nearby. Spacious living room, but small bedrooms. Conservatory for wildlife watching. Self-catering chalet with clean rooms, big TV, and free WiFi. Great location, facilities, and helpful staff.

The hotel exceeded our expectations in many ways. the value for money was excellent, with reasonable prices for the quality and comfort provided. Secondly, the attention to detail was impressive, with spare blankets, ample cupboard space, and well-equipped kitchens in the lodges. The location of the hotel was also a major highlight, situated in the beautiful Highlands with the opportunity for lovely walks around a small loch. The basic amenities were satisfactory, and the rooms with enclosed front gardens made life easier, especially for those with pets.
