We stayed in a room with a stunning view of the bay, making it very relaxing. The room was spacious, with nice features like bathrobes and slippers. The manager was helpful and allowed us to park our car after check-out for extra sightseeing. The location was great, as it was walkable to pubs, hikes, and ferries. Additionally, being right on the sea front was a major advantage.

We would have liked to have had wash clothes.

We recently spent our Christmas break at a B&B in Oban. the owner was incredibly accommodating and even allowed us to check in early. the room we stayed in had a stunning view of the harbor, which was a delightful sight to wake up to each morning. the staff were extremely friendly and provided us with useful local recommendations. the location of the B&B was also very convenient, with easy access to the town center and public transportation. we had a great experience during our Christmas stay.

While our stay was mostly enjoyable, there was one small drawback. the breakfast provided was delicious and satisfying, but we would have appreciated the option of having baked beans as part of the meal.

The entrance hall had a lovely touch with a jar of sweets and a decanter of whiskey. The owner greeted us warmly and explained breakfast delivery and ordering. Our room had a breathtaking view, a comfortable enormous bed with crisp, clean bedding, and a spacious bathroom. We also appreciated the additional touches like whiskey, bottles of water, biscuits, and porridge in the room. The location was great for exploring the town on foot.

Our stay at Mackays was simply delightful. We were here for a couple of nights before heading to Mull, and the hotel provided everything we needed and more. The room was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and had a breathtaking view of the bay. Its location on the esplanade was perfect for exploring the area and enjoying the local dining and shopping options. The room came equipped with a variety of complimentary extras, such as coffee, tea, sherry, and fresh fruit. I highly recommend Mackays for a truly excellent experience.

The location of this hotel is outstanding, with uninterrupted views across the water. It's just a short 15-minute walk into the hustle and bustle of town and a lovely walk to the beaches. The room was large and very comfortable, with some great hospitality touches. I loved watching the sunsets from the easy chairs on the balcony, it was truly spectacular. And to top it all off, I had the magical sight of a sea otter playing and feeding right outside my window. The added bonus of a fridge in the room and a table and chairs for breakfast made it even better. The on-site parking was convenient and there was a nice seating area at the front of the property. Iona, the host, was a pleasure to deal with. I had a fantastic stay and will definitely be back.

I had a lovely time staying at this hotel, it was perfectly located right on the sea front, making it very easy to catch a ferry to explore the nearby islands. The room was fantastic, with great amenities such as a flat-screen TV and comfortable seating area, and the service was impeccable. I also enjoyed spending time in the terrace area, taking in the beautiful views.

This venue would be perfect for families too, with plenty of opportunities for activities such as hiking, cycling and canoeing, without any pets allowed on-site. Highly recommended for those looking for a relaxing break in a beautiful location.

Thanksgiving at this place was okay, but not worth the money spent. the view was stunning and the breakfast was decent. the owner was kind enough to provide us with champagne and give us a late check-out at no extra cost. the location was perfect as it was within walking distance to most attractions.

It was small and lacked basic amenities like hooks to hang our coats and a proper wardrobe. the kettle was difficult to fill and the mugs were too small.

It had all the amenities we needed for our weekend stay. the location was amazing, right by the water, and we could watch the comings and goings from the harbor. It was a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a drink in the evening.
