I had a fantastic stay in this hotel! The room was large, light, airy and very clean, with beautiful views of the bay and harbour from the two windows. The breakfasts were excellent and Barbara, the cheerful staff member, provided great service. The hotel's location on the waterfront at Garlieston was perfect, with plenty of walks nearby, so I didn't even need to use my car. Additionally, the hotel's proximity to Isle of Whithorn and Wigtown allowed for rewarding visits. The Mull of Galloway and Logan gardens were also a reasonable distance away, making it convenient for exploring the area. The restaurant provided adequate dining options, with well-cooked, nicely presented food.
