The hotel is conveniently located, making it a great base for exploring the highlands. The friendly staff, especially Craig, made breakfast and dinner all the more pleasurable. The well-cooked lamb shank was a highlight of the dining experience.

The bistro, located near the Art Gallery, was a great spot for dinner. The room had a comfortable bed and a lovely view of the river and town. The bathroom, although dated, was functional with a spa bath. The staff provided friendly and accommodating service, including a complimentary drink upon arrival. The breakfast, cooked fresh, was tasty. It was also convenient to have a lift available, especially with the hotel being located by a roundabout.

The room was a bit warm and only one of the windows opened, making it difficult to cool down.

We stayed here for one night on our NC500 tour as a family of 4. The rooms and bathrooms were generous in size and nicely decorated. The hotel's Bistro offered a lovely meal with plenty of choice and the owners made us feel very welcome. There was plenty of street parking available. The attentive service at breakfast was a highlight. The hotel's commitment to local food producers was evident in the delicious meals. The room information pack provided helpful suggestions for activities in the area. The towels were large and fluffy.

Convenience of location - This hotel was incredibly convenient for exploring Wick and touring the north of Caithness. It was centrally located in the town and allowed for easy walkability to local attractions. Friendly and accommodating staff - The staff at this hotel were fantastic. They were friendly, always willing to assist, and went out of their way to make sure our stay was enjoyable. Well-maintained rooms - Although the rooms were a little dated, they were well-maintained and provided everything we needed for our one-night stay. The cleanliness was top-notch and the size of the rooms was perfect.

The hotel’s location was very convenient as it was close to many attractions and restaurants. the food at the hotel was excellent, with a wide range of dishes to choose from. the staff were friendly and approachable, and always ready to help with any questions or requests.

The room was a bit cramped, and the bed was not as comfortable as expected. the noise levels from the street were also quite high, which made it difficult to sleep at night.

Good location, huge and clean rooms, great river views, excellent bistro restaurant, friendly staff, commitment to local food producers.

The rooms felt small and outdated, lacking insulation which resulted in a noisy night's sleep. the dining arrangements were confusing, with conflicting information given regarding where guests should dine.

Arriving drenched after a long bike ride, the hotel warmly greeted us and provided hot drinks during check-in. Our room was great and the dinner and breakfast deal was excellent value. The staff were friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel offers great value for money, with reasonable prices and attention to detail. The newly fitted bathrooms with showers over the bath are a nice touch, and the bug comfy beds provide a comfortable night's sleep. The stunning views from the rooms add to the overall charm of the hotel.
