The location of the hotel was ideal, situated on a beautiful wooden alley between Devon and the North West. We had the opportunity to explore the nearby Berkeley Castle, the Jenner Museum, and the church.

We stayed at a lovely hotel on the main street in a charming village. The building was beautiful and our rooms were spacious and clean. We were even allowed to store our bikes in the skittle alley room. Despite a small issue with the food, the owner handled it well and didn't charge us. The bed was comfortable and I slept really well. The breakfast options were limited, but the cereal and toast were sufficient. the rooms were expensive but comfortable. I would recommend this hotel.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, even allowing us to check in early. The outside seating in the garden was peaceful and relaxing. Our family room was spacious and perfect for our needs. The food was excellent, with generous portion sizes and great value. The beers were delicious and served perfectly cold. As travellers with a car, the location was convenient for us.

Spent Easter at this historic English inn, and it was a wonderful experience. the location was ideal, set in a charming village with plenty of local character and friendly locals. the rooms were spacious and comfortable, with all the amenities one could need. One of the highlights was the delicious food, with a range of classic British dishes served up in a cozy dining area. highly recommended.

It felt like a missed opportunity to enjoy more of the local atmosphere and socialize with other guests. the nearby parking area was a bit limited, so it was difficult to find a spot close to the inn.

I had a wonderful stay at a great location. The room at the hotel was spacious, well-equipped, and provided a comfortable night's sleep. The staff were incredibly kind and friendly. I especially enjoyed the convenient amenities in the room like the TV, coffee, and tea. The hotel was conveniently located just a short walk away from the town, where I could explore and visit the nearby castle and Dr Jenner's House. I was pleased with my stay and would highly recommend it.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming hotel for a birthday treat and I must say, it exceeded my expectations. the spacious and warm room was a delight, offering a comfortable bed that ensured a restful night's sleep. The attentive staff went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was memorable, even making an extra effort on my special day. Additionally, the delicious breakfast, including a fresh fruit salad, provided a perfect start to each day.

All was well, there was nothing that could be improved.

The hotel was exceptionally clean, from the room to the common areas. The parking was convenient and easy to find, with plenty of space available. The location was perfect for visiting Berkeley Castle and the Slimbridge wildlife center. It was also conveniently located near the motorway, making travel easy. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and provided excellent service, making me feel welcome throughout my stay.

Wow, what a blast from the past! This hotel in a little town was truly special. The decommissioned nuclear plant and the town's charm made it unique. The owner, Wendy, was fantastic, and the pub had a perfect atmosphere. The food was fantastic, and the staff, especially Callum, were friendly. The location was great for work and close to Berkeley Castle and the motorway. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and had plenty of plugs. I can't recommend this hotel more!
