From the moment we booked with Manor House, they were amazing! We wanted to arrange a surprise for my partner's birthday, and they couldn't have been more helpful. They recommended a lovely restaurant for dinner and even helped with carrying presents. the staff, especially Olivia on reception, were friendly and made us feel welcome. the building and decor were stunning, and our room, although smaller than expected, was lovely with a fabulous bathroom. the attention to detail in the fixtures and fittings throughout the hotel was impressive. the staff were also polite and not overbearing. the late checkout and breakfast until 11am allowed us to fully enjoy the beautiful hotel. We will definitely return!

The location of the hotel is great, with several nice local restaurants nearby. The conservatory is beautifully decorated, providing a pleasant atmosphere for guests. There are separate bars for non-residents, ensuring a peaceful and exclusive experience. The rooms are well-appointed, with underfloor heating in the bathroom and a choice of tea or using the Nespresso machine. The breakfast is exceptional, with high-quality ingredients and beautiful presentation.

It would have been nice if there were complimentary biscuits in the room.

The hotel had a beautiful building and attractive decor which made for a pleasant stay.

I had an issue with the bathroom sink as there was no cover or grate, which resulted in me dropping a valuable item that couldn't be retrieved from the u-bend.

Dinner was expensive but exceptional. Breakfast had a great local selection. Staff were lovely and gardens well maintained.

The entire experience at the Manor House was stunning. The staff, especially Joanna at reception, were extremely helpful and professional. They even went out of their way to arrange a sandwich for me when I had to leave early for my flight.

The large bed was incredibly comfortable and the bathroom was amazing with high-end amenities provided. I couldn't resist using the Nespresso machine each morning to make myself a hot coffee and the location was perfect, right in the heart of town. I also loved the fact that the staff were very friendly and always on hand to help out with anything we needed.

While I enjoyed the facilities, it was a let-down that the hotel didn't offer a spa as the bathrobes provided were top-notch. Finally, the hotel is quite expensive, so if you're on a budget, this might not be the best choice for you.

The underfloor heating in the bathroom was a nice touch. The receptionist Joanna was extremely helpful and professional. They even arranged to make me a sandwich for my journey when I couldn't have breakfast before my flight. the hotel had a world-class feel.

Felt more than at home, no complaints whatsoever.

We recently stayed at a self-contained apartment at Manor House. the apartment was fully furnished, with a well-equipped kitchen. the comfortable lounge had a homely feel, and we appreciated the little touches like books on the bookshelf. the cleanliness of the place made us feel very safe. the breakfast hamper delivered to our doorstep was plentiful. Highly recommended!

the exclusive amenities, such as the private facilities and impressive garden area, exceeded our expectations. the staff provided impeccable service and made us feel valued guests. the restaurant and bar/lounge area were high, end and inviting, making it easy to relax and enjoy our stay. the location advantages were ideal, with easy access to Huddersfield's attractions.

The food was absolutely amazing and the staff were so friendly and professional. the breakfast was excellently prepared, and the service was attentive. the high state of decoration in the property was unique and posh, well done.

The room could have been slightly larger, but the en-suite was a fantastic size. However, the room backed onto some houses and we could hear the residents at night and in the morning.

We had a fantastic stay! The room was clean and comfortable with a large bed and a well-appointed bathroom. The hotel facilities were excellent, including a dark and glitzy bar where locals gather for cocktails. The breakfast, served in a charming enclosed courtyard, was delicious with a variety of options including rare breed bacon and smashed avocado on sourdough toast. The staff were polite, friendly, and helpful, ensuring a great experience. We also loved the well-maintained building and gardens, showing that someone truly cares.

My partner and I had a truly special stay at Manor House Lindley. The Apartment suite was perfect for our four-night getaway, with its spacious lounge, kitchen, bedroom, and ensuite. The staff, from reception to the restaurant, were incredibly attentive and helpful. The food in The Kitchen Bistro was spot on, both for breakfast and lunch. Dinner in the Lantern Room was exceptional, and the waiting staff faultless. The hotel itself is luxurious, with a warm and characterful ambiance. We're already planning our next visit!
