my recent stay in bishopton exceeded all expectations. mar hall impressed me with its attentive staff, beautiful building, and stunning grounds by the river clyde. the room was comfortable and the shower powerful. the breakfast and view were superb. perfect base for exploring scotland!

Uncomfortable beds with twin mattresses.

The rooms were lovely with great character and beautiful views. The hotel facilities were top-notch, including a powerful shower and great food. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially the front desk receptionist and the young blonde-haired gent who checked us in. The location was convenient, close to the Clyde and beyond, as well as next to the golf course and within easy reach of Glasgow airport. The cleanliness of the hotel was excellent, and the breakfast served in the room was a nice touch.

I recently stayed at Mar Hall for a weekend getaway and had a fantastic experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff, particularly Nadia at reception, were incredibly friendly and helpful. The views from the tower were breathtaking, and the well-maintained grounds offered beautiful walks through the old forest and golf course. The food was delicious, and I appreciated the recognition of my special birthday with chocolate-dipped strawberries. The room was comfortable and great value for money, and the swimming pool was a nice addition. Toiletries from a local company added a personal touch to our stay.

My stay at Mar Hall was absolutely amazing! The location of this hidden gem is breathtaking, with stunning views over the water. I was able to indulge in a round of golf on the 18-hole course right at my doorstep. The spa facilities were superb, with a fantastic thermal spa offering heated loungers and incredible views of the golf course. The staff were exceptional, providing top-notch service and making me feel like royalty. The dining experience at the Crystal Restaurant was outstanding, with delicious food and impeccable service. Spacious rooms, comfy beds, all amenities included. Beautiful views and stunning lobby. Good food, though limited choice. Big bedroom and bathroom, clean and quiet. Original decor adds character. Great staff, especially the new consierge.

The staff were extremely welcoming and made us feel right at home. The hotel is well set up for families with kids, as they are welcomed throughout the hotel, including the pool area. The breakfast had a great selection, even for our fussy 4-year-old. We were lucky enough to get an upgrade to a junior suite, which was spacious and fabulous, giving us plenty of room to enjoy our stay as a family.

The hotel was located near the river and had stunning views of the surrounding area. the staff was friendly and really went out of their way to accommodate our needs. We appreciated that the hotel provided complementary bottled water in the room.

The hotel was a bit run down and outdated. the carpets in the communal areas were really shabby and the pool lining had a big bubble in it, which looked unsafe.

I got great value for my money at Mar Hall. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff treated me like family. The location was perfect for scenic walks and relaxing views.

I must note that the pro shops deep inside the main building were inconveniently located and miles away from where you should be.
