This hotel on the island of Bressay is conveniently located near the ferry terminal, making it easily accessible for guests. The attention to detail in the rooms is evident, with beautifully refurbished accommodations offering lovely views across the sound. The highlight for me was the exceedingly comfortable bed – certainly the most luxurious I've ever experienced. Additionally, the staff were attentive and friendly, creating a welcoming atmosphere throughout my stay.

The rooms at Maryfield House Hotel were beautifully done, with comfortable beds and a great bathroom. The restaurant was a highlight, with creative decor and delicious food prepared by Nelly herself. The breakfast was also fantastic. The hotel's collection of whiskies was impressive. I had a great stay and would highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel is a hidden gem on the island of Bressay, just a short ferry ride from the bustling town. The rooms are beautifully furnished and offer amazing views of the harbour. The attention to detail is impeccable, with the most luxuriously comfortable beds and a breakfast that is absolutely delicious.

We had a fantastic stay on the island of Bressay, close enough to the town while still feeling like a hidden gem. The room was clean and modern, with a comfortable bed and a beautiful view of the small harbor. The service was exceptional, with friendly and welcoming hosts who made us feel at home. The breakfast was delicious and there was a well-stocked bar with a great selection of whisky. The location was perfect, with easy access to the stunning views across to Lerwick and only £12 a day for the return ferry costs.

The cost of the ferry was a bit of a surprise and resulted in unexpected expenses.

This hotel was perfect for my Easter weekend getaway! the rooms were spacious and clean, with amazing views of the surroundings. the big towels and the comfortable beds made us feel at home, and the power showers were just what we needed after a long day. the food was fresh and delicious, and the bar had a great vibe. We loved the opportunity to try out the different types of local whisky on offer, which made for an unforgettable experience.

The hotel’s remote location meant that transportation was an issue. We had to spend quite some time waiting for a ferry to take us to and from the hotel.

I had a wonderful stay at this charming hotel with its own bar and restaurant. The dinner was absolutely excellent, and the cooked breakfasts were equally delicious. The room and bathroom were spacious, clean, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. I especially loved the spectacular view of Lerwick from my room. The staff, Molly, James, and Andrew, were delightful and made me feel very welcome. The location was perfect, with beautiful walks on the island and a quick ferry ride to Lerwick for music sessions and shops. it was a fantastic place to stay.
