I stayed at an apartment at Mason's Arms, which had a beautiful view over the valley. The self-catering cottage-style apartment was well equipped, with a lovely terrace and a comfortable super king-size bed. The kitchen was handy for cooking meals, and I also loved the bathroom, especially having a bath. The location in the countryside was peaceful and allowed for exploring nearby areas like Hawkshead, Coniston, Grasmere, and Bowness.

I had an amazing stay at Mason's Arms! The cottage was beautifully laid out and had everything we needed. The picturesque setting was perfect for a relaxing getaway, and being able to explore the nearby lakes was a bonus. The attached pub was the icing on the cake, with top-notch food, great drink choices, and friendly staff who were always happy to help. it was a perfect combination of comfort, convenience, and hospitality. Can't wait to visit again!

Amazingly cosy and comfy room with a warm and adjustable temperature. Great selection of TV streaming services like Netflix and Amazon Prime. Delightful bathtub experience followed by a soft robe and even softer bed.

The stairs from the bed level to the bathroom and lounge were a bit difficult, especially at night. An additional handrail would have been helpful, especially for elderly guests like us.

La localisation de l'hôtel est vraiment idéale, car on peut profiter de la proximité du lac Léman ainsi que de tous les commerces et restaurants du centre ville. De plus, la vue depuis l'hôtel est tout simplement incroyable, avec une magnifique vue sur le lac. Les chambres étaient propres et confortables, avec une literie de bonne qualité. Le petit déjeuner était également copieux et varié, offrant plusieurs options pour tous les goûts. C'était vraiment agréable de se réveiller le matin et de profiter d'un bon petit déjeuner.

Le seul point négatif que j'ai trouvé, et c'est un avis très personnel, c'était la qualité moyenne de la literie. Cependant, ma femme l'a adorée.

The bed was very comfortable, and we enjoyed a relaxing birthday break. Looking forward to returning in the summer/autumn to enjoy the terrace and valley view. Our recent stay at Mason's Arms was fantastic. The pub is unique and offers a lovely setting overlooking the valley. The food served at the pub is excellent, with top marks to the chefs Dave and Bradley. The rooms are clean, well-decorated, and equipped with modern bathroom fittings. The atmosphere in the pub is great, and we enjoyed the open log fires and the lovely outside eating and drinking area. The pub has a fantastic selection of beers and fine wines. we had a wonderful time and would highly recommend Mason's Arms.

The mezzanine floor bed in the Crosthwaite room was incredibly comfortable. I can't wait to return in the summer/autumn to enjoy drinks on the terrace while overlooking the valley below.
