Spent an amazing new year at this cute hotel in the countryside. the rooms were cozy and clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. We loved the fact that the hotel was located near some key attractions and had stunning views of the surrounding countryside. the food was delicious and the wine selection was impressive - we especially loved the local specialties. One of the best aspects was the live music on new year's eve, which we danced to all night long.

Although we had a great time overall, there were a few negative aspects. the shower in our room was small and awkward to use, and the water temperature fluctuated.

We had a fantastic weekend at this hotel in Meikleour! the cottages were beautiful and the surrounding area was absolutely stunning. We loved being able to walk straight out of the door and explore the estate, with its lovely walks through the woods and alongside the river. Another great aspect was the staff. They were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. They even allowed our dog to join us in the public bar area, which made dining with our furry friend much easier. a truly dog-friendly and enjoyable stay.

That the plug points in the cottage were difficult to access for charging our various devices, but luckily we discovered double plug points next to the bed that worked fine. while the food at the hotel was excellent, we did find it to be a bit on the pricey side.

The two-bedroom cottage we stayed in was spacious, modern, and clean, with super comfy beds and fluffy towels. The location was quiet and the Wi-Fi kept the kids entertained. The pub/restaurant was cosy and the breakfast and evening meals were delicious. The owner, Claire, gave us great recommendations for local walks and sightseeing. The staff, especially Blancha, were brilliant with the kids and our dog. It was refreshing to see a dog-friendly place that maintained top-quality standards. We will definitely be back!

We got great value for our money at the Arms Hotel & Restaurant. The room was fabulous, with a huge bed and nice touches like free tea/coffee making facilities, water, and shortbread. The staff were really friendly and attentive, making our stay enjoyable. The location was quiet but still within a short drive to bustling Perth. The internal sandstone of the hotel was simply amazing.
