We stayed at Melfort House for a restful and comfortable stay. The loch view room had a superb view over the gardens to the water. The spacious bedroom was well equipped and had a luxurious large bed. Matthew, our excellent host, met all our requests with a smile. The breakfast was extremely good with a variety of cereals/fruit and a cooked meal of our choice. The 4-course dinner was also excellent and good value for the quality of food. The location was superb with views over the sea loch, and the house itself was beautiful with a lovely garden.

I highly recommend this hotel.

Imagine arriving at this upscale countryside gem, where I enjoyed freshly baked goodies and endless tea. The tranquil grounds and cozy ambiance were perfect for unwinding. The breakfast with stunning views was simply divine. Nature, space, and beauty made my soul dance.

We had an incredible stay at this stunning house overlooking Loch Melfort. The vegetarian dinner prepared by Matthew was outstanding and the best we've ever had. The house itself is beautiful, both inside and out, and the surroundings are peaceful and breathtaking. The spacious and well-equipped bedroom was perfect for a comfortable stay. Matthew, our attentive host, ensured that all our requests were promptly met. The breakfast, with a selection of berries and a choice of cooked breakfast items, was delicious. We also highly recommend the 4-course dinner option, which was superb. we had a wonderful experience and look forward to planning a future trip.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a beautiful country house in a stunning location. The house had a modern and elegant feel, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The views from the house, whether of Loch Melfort or the garden, were truly breathtaking. The owners were away during my visit, but I was greeted by two friendly Californian girls who added a laid-back touch to the formal setting. The Garden room I stayed in was comfortable and clean, providing everything I needed for a pleasant stay. The breakfast served at the house was delicious, and the overall experience was truly enjoyable.
