I recently stayed at Mercure in Newport for a weekend getaway and had a fantastic experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the hotel itself had a stylish and modern ambiance. The room was well-equipped and the bed was extremely comfortable. The views from the room were breathtaking, and the location was perfect, right in the heart of a lively and entertaining part of town. Additionally, there were plenty of interesting places to explore within a short drive. I would definitely return to this hotel in the future.

The location of the hotel was really convenient, as it was right in the city center. There were plenty of restaurants nearby, making it easy to grab a bite to eat. The room was pleasant and the bed was extremely comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and the shower was excellent. The staff at the hotel were polite and check-in was prompt. Breakfast offered a great choice of options, although it could have been a bit hotter. the hotel had modern facilities and provided a comfortable stay.

There was one inconvenience, however, as there was no convenient socket near the coffee machine and kettle. I had to awkwardly place them by the edge of the TV.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The reception staff were friendly and welcoming, always greeting me with a smile. The room was spacious and had large windows that made it feel even bigger. The bed was comfortable, and room service was excellent. The hotel's location was perfect, with great proximity to shops and restaurants. The gym, although small, had everything I needed and was quiet during my workouts. The breakfast buffet was delicious, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

The staff were friendly and provided excellent service, even going out of their way to accommodate my wife when she was unwell. The breakfast was delicious, and the facilities were clean and well-maintained. we had a fantastic experience here.

The only minor issue we encountered was with the plants in the restaurant, which appeared to be in need of watering.

the staff at the hotel, specifically Mercure, were incredibly kind and helpful throughout my stay. the twin center location offered a good view, although the windows were a bit dirty. the overall experience was wonderful. the room was clean, comfortable, and spacious, with amazing views of the Riverside and surrounding area. the hotel is conveniently located near the railway station, shopping centers, restaurants, and bars. the restaurant at the hotel was fabulous, with great food and generous portions. the 24-hour gym on the 3rd floor was compact but well-equipped. the reception staff were very accommodating, and I was able to easily request extra towels through a WhatsApp message. I will definitely be returning to this hotel in the future.

I recently stayed at the Mercure in Newport for a music event. The location was perfect for me as it was close to the music venues I attend regularly. The staff were friendly and always ready to help. The hotel had a modern and pleasant decor, creating a quiet and comfortable atmosphere. The rooms were exceptional, with big spaces and huge bathrooms. The hotel was very clean, and the facilities were top-notch. The food at the restaurant was delicious, and I highly recommend trying the white chocolate tiramisu cheesecake. I was satisfied with everything and will definitely consider staying again!

The rooms were lovely, clean, and spacious. We had a great view from our room on the upper floor. the staff, especially the lady in the breakfast room, were extremely helpful and accommodating. They made us feel welcome and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable.

Enjoyed central location & lovely terrace bar with good air conditioning. Liked the little touches in the room like Newport mugs and good selection of tea and coffee. Breakfast was tasty and the staff was friendly and helpful.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel in a pedestrian area in the centre. The location was perfect, with shopping centres, restaurants, and bars just a short walk away. The room was spacious, comfortable, and clean, and I loved the amazing views of the Riverside and surrounding area from the 12th floor. The staff were very helpful and accommodating, and I was impressed with the 24-hour gym on the 3rd floor, complete with cardio machines and weights. I also enjoyed the delicious food at the restaurant and the option for in-room breakfast. this place exceeded my expectations and I will definitely be visiting again.

Although not mentioned in the reviews, I would recommend this hotel to families as well.

Breakfast was good, nice clean and comfy bed. Great sized accessible bathroom. Large TV. Very friendly staff.
