I had a wonderful stay at Merewood Country House. The value for the money was excellent, with a cozy and clean room that had a lovely view of Lake Windermere. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home.

What a beautiful hotel, full of character and charm, with roaring open fires that instantly create a warm and cozy atmosphere. the staff are fantastic, very friendly and helpful, making our stay extra special. the lake view from our room was stunning, and the food, both dinner and breakfast, was delicious with lots of choice. We also appreciated the accommodations for our puppy, with a table set up in the lounge for us to have breakfast with him. the hotel was extremely clean and maintained its original features.

I stayed at a charming country house hotel in the Lake District. The location was exceptional, with partial views of Windermere from the hill where it sits.
