We had a fantastic week at Hotel La Bastide Saint Martin. The hosts, Isabelle and Alain, were amazing and provided helpful tips and advice on restaurants and things to do in the area. The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Located near a stunning chateaux, this hotel is conveniently close to the hospital where my husband had to stay. The rooms are comfortable with clean towels provided daily. The welcoming and accommodating staff make you feel at home. The breakfast served on the poolside terrace is delicious, with fresh French bread, croissants, and a selection of drinks. Free parking and a peaceful setting add to the appeal of this hotel.

The owners are hospitable and have a good command of English, making the stay even more enjoyable. The location of the hotel is also a major plus, being right by the hospital of Carcassonne and only 10 minutes away from the old city.

We felt secure with the on-site car park and 24-hour security. There was a cozy lounge area and breakfast room where we enjoyed a delicious continental breakfast each morning. The highlight was definitely the outdoor swimming pool - perfect for cooling off in the heat. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.

That the hotel was a bit far from the main attractions and required a short taxi or car ride. However, this was easily mitigated by the peaceful surroundings and the fact that the hotel was situated in a lovely parkland area.
