I had the most amazing stay at this lovely B&B called Merlindale. From the moment I walked in, I could tell it was a classy and welcoming place. Helen, the hostess, greeted me warmly and made me feel right at home. the room, called the Bramble room, was absolutely stunning. It was spacious, tastefully decorated, and had all the amenities I could ask for. the homemade shortbread and fudge, as well as the welcome dram of malt whisky, were such thoughtful touches. And I have to mention the bathroom, which was truly something else. it was a perfect and memorable experience.

The location did not meet my expectations as it was a far distance away from the places I wanted to visit. the bed was uncomfortably hard and the walls were thin, making it hard to sleep throughout the night due to noise from the other guests.
