I had the best night's sleep in the super king size bed at The Ruddings. The view of the falls from my room was stunning. The old-fashioned style gave the hotel a cozy character. The food was exceptional, and I loved that my dog could join me in the bar area. The location was peaceful and easy to find, with convenient bus access to Keswick. I highly recommend this hotel for a dog-friendly getaway.

We recently stayed at a fantastic hotel in the Lake District called the Ruddings. the location was perfect for us as we were traveling on motorbikes and they had a good position for us to park. the staff were incredibly helpful and even recommended the best spot in the car park due to the slope. They also had a drying room which was a godsend after riding through bad weather. the whole place was welcoming and comfortable, with a cozy fire in the bar. the food was excellent, with a great choice of ales and a knowledgeable barman. They even welcomed our dogs with open arms. We will definitely be returning!

This hotel offers great value for money with affordable prices and attention to detail. Located in a beautiful area, it's perfect for a walking holiday in the Lakes. The staff are friendly and the basic amenities are well-maintained. The rooms with balconies provide a lovely view of the surroundings.

Everything was just fine.

The holiday decorations were beautiful and added a festive touch to the hotel, really got me in the Christmas spirit. the staff were friendly and attentive, offering Christmas treats at the reception. the location was great, being close to a town with lots of shops and restaurants. the hotel also provided free parking which was a bonus.

The bed was uncomfortable and the pillows were flat, resulting in a poor night's sleep. the bathroom was dated and could have been cleaner.

The Ruddings in Keswick offers a comfy bed, great view of Skiddaw, good shower and awesome breakfast, with a wide choice of beer. The staff are nice and welcoming, and the location is convenient with a short drive to Keswick Town. The peaceful surroundings and picturesque views add to the charm. The room amenities, including TV, tea and coffee, and ensuite facilities, meet expectations. The breakfast surpasses other places, with plentiful cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurts, and a cooked breakfast to perfection. The traditional atmosphere and friendly staff create a pleasant stay. Nice to have a bath.

We had a fantastic one night stay at Middle Ruddings just outside of town. the food quality was excellent with lots of homemade elements. the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome and well looked after. the traditional atmosphere added to the charm of the place, and we really appreciated having a bath in our room. the cleanliness, parking facilities, and good WiFi were also top-notch. We had a hot meal even though we arrived after the dinner closing time, which was a lifesaver after being stuck on the motorway for 11 hours. We can't wait to stay at Middle Ruddings again next time we're in the area.

I had a very enjoyable stay at a lovely country hotel in the beautiful Lakes region. The staff were welcoming and accommodating, and the overall value for money was exceptional. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was superb, one of the best I've had. The hotel is also conveniently located, close to the center of town.

The hotel is great value for money, offering reasonable prices without compromising on quality. The attention to detail is evident throughout, from the charming country-style decor in the rooms to the complimentary toiletries in the clean and spacious en-suite bathroom. The location on the outskirts of Braithwaite, just off the A66, is incredibly convenient, with a bus stop nearby for easy access to the lakes. Additionally, the hotel is situated in the town centre, making it a perfect base for exploring the surrounding area.

I had a fantastic stay at Middle Ruddings for a couple of nights. The peaceful and quiet atmosphere was exactly what I needed, and the absence of children made it even more relaxing. The short drive into Keswick Town was a bonus too. The hotel's picturesque surroundings provided stunning views that I absolutely loved. The room had all the necessary amenities, including a comfortable bed and a nice ensuite bathroom. The breakfast was exceptional, with a wide variety of cereals, fresh fruit, yogurts, and a cooked breakfast cooked to perfection. I was so impressed with the quality of the food that I even made a detour to buy some produce from the butcher recommended by the hotel's chef.
