mill house was even better than my previous stay in kirk yetholm! comfortable rooms, friendly owners, and a delicious breakfast made our short break perfect. their recommendations for local dining were spot-on, and the location was both beautiful and convenient for walkers. we can't wait to return!

The room was spacious and well-lit with a comfortable sofa and bedding. The bathroom was modern and clean. The breakfast exceeded expectations, with a delicious and generous portion of vegetarian food. The landlady was friendly, approachable, and provided great recommendations. The location is superb for exploring the attractions of the border area.

For those wanting to do the St Cuthbert Way walk, staying at this B&B managed by Claire and her husband is the only logical choice. The rooms are spacious and light, with comfortable furniture and bedding. The bathroom is modern and beautifully clean. The service here is outstanding, with contactless check-in and a safe environment. The breakfast is a highlight, with generous portions of delicious vegetarian options. Plus, there are facilities to dry wet clothing and boots if needed.

The rooms can become warm at night, with limited air circulation. However, this can easily be remedied with the addition of a fan or opening windows during less buggy times.

Large ensuite bathroom, well-furnished lounge for guests. Coffee/tea facilities with biscuits and cake. Excellent made-to-order breakfast with homemade goodies, packed lunch provided. Highly recommended!

The hosts, Claire and David, made us feel incredibly welcome. the rooms were spotless and comfortable, and the shower was the best we've ever used in a B&B. Breakfast was delightful, with a wide variety of options to choose from. We especially loved the delicious homemade flapjack. We would definitely recommend Mill House Bed & Breakfast to friends and family.
