The location of the hotel is ideal, being situated in the charming Forest Of Dean. It is conveniently located next to a co-op supermarket and a decent pub with great food. The rooms are clean and tidy, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The separate accommodation block ensures a peaceful stay away from the lively pub. The breakfast options are plentiful and delicious. Plus, there is ample on-site parking available.

The hotel could benefit from some renovation work in certain areas.

The staff were friendly and polite, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. the rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, with plenty of tea and coffee available. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast with a great variety of choices. the location of the hotel was perfect, and we were able to explore the area easily. the pub on-site had good value for money, and we enjoyed their tasty food. our experience at Belfry was warm, comfortable, and enjoyable.

We recently stayed at The Belfry hotel for a wedding and had a fantastic time. The location was perfect for our gathering and it was extremely convenient to have a bus stop right outside the hotel for easy transportation. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the bar had a good selection of food and drinks at reasonable prices. The rooms were comfortable and clean, with plenty of tea and coffee supplies. The buffet-style breakfast was well stocked and of good quality. All of this at a bargain price of £65 for two people with breakfast included!

Lovely stay for the one night, small room so staying longer, would need a bigger room. Great location for what we were visiting for. Food was great, we had breakfast and had our evening meal there too. Great atmosphere in the pub area. The room was a little tired and needed some vamping up. We were in quite a small room and did catch our legs as we came through the door a couple of times. Had everything we needed in there though. Beautiful place excellent priced food, quick service very friendly staff, parking free also. It’s clean but looks tired but it is a village hotel so blends in with the scenery. I had a great stay at The Belfry and thoroughly enjoyed exploring the Forest of Dean. The newly updated accommodation was clean and tidy, and the bed was comfortable. I appreciated the toiletries and tea and coffee provided in the room. The bar had a pleasant atmosphere with live music on Saturday evening, and the bar staff were welcoming. The buffet breakfast was good, with plenty of options to choose from. I would recommend this hotel for an enjoyable overnight stay and convenient location to explore the area.
