The staff were friendly and polite, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. the rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, with plenty of tea and coffee available. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast with a great variety of choices. the location of the hotel was perfect, and we were able to explore the area easily. the pub on-site had good value for money, and we enjoyed their tasty food. our experience at Belfry was warm, comfortable, and enjoyable.

We recently stayed at The Belfry hotel for a wedding and had a fantastic time. The location was perfect for our gathering and it was extremely convenient to have a bus stop right outside the hotel for easy transportation. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the bar had a good selection of food and drinks at reasonable prices. The rooms were comfortable and clean, with plenty of tea and coffee supplies. The buffet-style breakfast was well stocked and of good quality. All of this at a bargain price of £65 for two people with breakfast included!

Despite some shortcomings, the breakfast buffet on Sunday was enjoyable, with a decent variety of options to choose from. The overall view from the hotel is picturesque, with lush greenery and natural beauty adding to the ambiance.

The dining room layout could have been better organized, and at times, it was difficult to get the attention of the staff.

The room was clean, well-equipped, and comfortable. The hotel facilities were great, including the good wifi and ample parking right outside the hotel. The location, nestled in the Forest of Dean, was perfect. We particularly loved that it was next to a lively pub, but in a separate block, ensuring a peaceful and quiet stay. The buffet-style breakfast had a wide variety of choices, and the staff was friendly and accommodating.

Lovely stay for the one night, small room so staying longer, would need a bigger room. Great location for what we were visiting for. Food was great, we had breakfast and had our evening meal there too. Great atmosphere in the pub area. The room was a little tired and needed some vamping up. We were in quite a small room and did catch our legs as we came through the door a couple of times. Had everything we needed in there though. Beautiful place excellent priced food, quick service very friendly staff, parking free also. It’s clean but looks tired but it is a village hotel so blends in with the scenery.
