I absolutely love Mitton Hall! The hotel is located in a fantastic area, perfect for exploring the local attractions. The bar staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, providing excellent service. The decor is stunning, and the roaring fire creates a cozy and inviting atmosphere. My wife, who is a coffee lover, claimed that the coffee here is the best she has ever tasted in her 72 years. The staff are hand-picked, and there isn't a grumpy one among them. The settees are lovely and overstuffed, adding to the charm of the place. The creaky floorboards tell a story of centuries of visitors who have walked these rooms. Mitton Hall's historical significance in Lancashire is immense, and it is truly a privilege to stay here. The staff are delightful and accommodating. It has been my go-to base for exploring Lancashire, and there is so much to see in the area. I highly recommend visiting Whalley village and Abbey ruins, Stydd Gardens and cafe, Stydd Chapel, and exploring the beautiful road called 'The Skaithe'. I am already looking forward to my next visit to beloved Mitton Hall.

We had an amazing stay at Mitton Hall. The grand interiors and picturesque grounds added to the overall charm of the hotel. Our suite was beautifully appointed with a luxurious four-poster bed and a spacious bathroom. The bar staff, especially Sam, were attentive and friendly, making our evening drinks enjoyable. The dinner menu offered a great variety of options, and the food was absolutely delicious. The breakfast buffet had a good range of choices, although we would have liked to see more fresh fruit available. Despite a few minor issues like a dark corner at our room entrance and the lack of a phone in the room, our overall experience was fantastic. We would definitely recommend Mitton Hall for a memorable stay.

I recently stayed at a beautiful building called Mitton Hall in Lancashire and had a fantastic experience. The King Suite was incredibly spacious and comfortable, offering breathtaking views of the garden and river from its large bay window. The hotel bar had a great selection of local beers, and the residents lounge was a cozy space with comfortable seating and a variety of daily newspapers. I was also thrilled with the convenient location, as it was within walking distance to the Aspinall Arms pub and the superb Three Fishes restaurant. The staff were absolutely lovely and went above and beyond to ensure a warm and friendly welcome. They took the time to chat with me about my stay in Lancashire and provided excellent service. The food in the restaurant, both dinner and breakfast, was of the best quality and offered great value.

The room we stayed in was beautifully furnished, bright, and clean. The bathroom was modern and had luxurious L'Occitane toiletries. The lobby with its big fireplace was absolutely stunning. The breakfast was delicious and the staff were nice and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel!

The rooms were slightly small and lacked proper ventilation, resulting in a warm and stuffy atmosphere. Navigating the hotel was a bit challenging with multiple levels and steps to reach the rooms.

Located in the picturesque Forest of Bowland, this hotel offers a peaceful retreat next to the scenic Ribble river. Guests can relax by the open fire in the cosy entrance or enjoy a delicious breakfast with a great choice and high standard service. The rooms, although a bit chilly at times, provide a comfortable stay.

Some guests reported thin walls, which resulted in noise disturbance from other guests and dogs barking nearby.

The food is made of local produce and is simply excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and can well imagine returning. The Great Hall, painted by J.M.W. Turner, is a must-see. The rooms are modern and comfortable, with nice bathrooms and comfy beds. The food, made from local produce, is simply excellent. The attention to detail is evident in the breakfast offerings. The hotel is also conveniently located near attractions like the Tiffany glass museum and Whalley Abbey. our stay at Mitton Hall was thoroughly enjoyable, and I can easily imagine returning in the future.
